Going in September...2 people, in our 30's...all inclusive or not doesn't matter..Need a nice pool! We do drink..

I'd say it's La Cabana. The locals stay there frequently themselves. It has everything you'd want or need in a hotel, happy hour is 4-6:30 every night except Sat.- 2 for 1 with live music. Across the street from the beach but that part of the beach isn't as populated as the glitzy high rise hotels. The sunset is beautiful from there.
You can also try La Quinta, it doesn't have the amenities that La cabana does but it's also a lot more mellow.
Depends on your personalities...both have pools to lounge around and you'll be spending quite a bit of time at the beach. So if it's action you like pick La Cab, if it's peace & quiet that suits your style choose La Quinta.
Both are fairly reasonable.
p.s. be sure to make a trip to Baby's beach to snorkel, it's like being in a big aquarium since the water is only waist deep...have drinks on the sand at Coco Beach, you'll seee the signs on your way down to baby's.

We stayed at the Mariott on Palm Beach in Aruba. Its the very last hotel on that beach before you get to the lighthouse area.
Our room was great and the hotel and staff were top notch. We found a deal were we paid for 4 nights and got the 5th free. Our room rate included a buffet breakfast, but not other meals. that worked fine because there are restaurants nearby.

We stayed at the tamarijn and the divi divi u can go 2 either resorts its nice NOT glitzy and it all inclusive so u get all the drinks and food u want its soo fun. I went there and LOVED it i will go back!!!
