They seem to think that logic is its own entity, with it's own set of values. It's perfect, totally objective and independent of humans. This sounds like God to me.

I think those who are "all logical" kind of worship themselves because they think they have all the answers... they rely on their own understanding and can't really think outside that realm.

Actually I do believe Mathematics exists, is perfect, is totally objective and is independent of humans, and is responsible for existence ( actually is existence ).

However. Mathematics is very ungodlike. It doesn't respond to prayers. It doesn't send people to hell. It doesn't die on a piece of wood.

It doesn't actually create anything at all. Existence is not "created by mathematics". Instead I believe Existence is Mathematics. Further Mathematics is tautologically simple, while gods are claimed to be infinitely complex and hence must also be infinitely unlikely.

Further I believe Mathematics exists while gods are simply stories passed down from ancient story tellers.

I wouldn't see any point in worshiping Mathematics. Why would you bother.

Only problem is, you're speaking mainly to atheists here, and they don't worship anything, as I understand it.
