It seems that I can't copy and paste it.

Yes, you need to go under tools in adobe acrobat reader and use the select tool. Highlight everything you want to copy, then right-click and copy or just hit +C, then paste it into MS word. Now you will loose the format. but most of your text should be there.

You have to use the "text selection tool". Use it to select the text and going to edit and select copy. Open Words and paste it in there. This only work if the pdf was converted from a computer file (like a word document) where the text is stored as ASCII. If the pdf was created by scan, you can use the snap tool to capture the image, then save it as bmp file. Then you can use OCR software to convert that to text.

I don't think you can copy it which you need to do before pasting it.

If you are going to supply a printed copy you could print it and insert it among the pages printed by WordPerfect.

You can open the Adobe Reader for the document and click on "Save as Text." That will lose formatting but give you all the text words suitable for pasting into your document and re-editing.
