Ok...I don't believe in horoscopes or anything like this...but my sometimes it is spot on that is scary...here is mine today:

"Are you getting frustrated because you're giving it your all, but a certain person just isn't providing the reaction you're secretly hoping for? You can't train a person the way you would a dog. It's time to move on. :

The thing is...I am getting really frustrated because I am trying SO hard to make my relationship with my bf work but he's just not responding the way I need him to. I broke up with him once and got back with him because it seemed like he really changed...but he hasn't.

Does anyone else not believe in horoscopes but their horoscopes are right on the nose sometimes?

The main reason Horoscopes are so popular, is that they are often nice and vague. They aren't always right, but they cover so many bases, as far as events and feelings that people have every day, that they can be misinterpreted as being directed solely at you.
Yes, maybe you have some difficulties with your bf, maybe the horoscope is right about moving on, but that doesn't mean that it was meant for you specifically.
I fail to see how your birth month and sign directly relates to anything in the real world.

I think that they do sometimes hit but its usually cause they are so vague... if you break down the likelyhood of horoscopes you can tell that they would equally apply to anyone just as a fortune cookie... all it is, is a possibility its up to your subconcious mind to peice together how it would fit into your life and that is what makes it true now if it said you would die and you did thats would be creepy and would suck...
either way if you need some one dependable don't go to the pound do your home work and find some one who is trained...

Yes. But there is a psychological term for this phenomenon... The feeling that a vague description actually applies to your specific situation. It works the same with psychics... They say something vague, and you interpret it as something that actually applies to you.

And as you said, it only sometimes is correct... That's because you're bound to read one that applies, even remotely, eventually!

The opposite of what my horoscope predicts, is usually what happens to me, so I've quit reading them.
