do you mean borough? New York City has 5 Boroughs that are all part of the city itself. Each has many neighborhoods, some sketchier than others. For example, in the Bronx there is the whole south area where it can be dangerous...but Riverdale is in the Bronx as well and that is a very nice, upperclass area. Brooklyn has rough parts like Bushwick, but places like Park Slope are great. In Manhattan you have Harlem which has sketchy parts, but then the Upper west and east sides as well as the villages are nice. In short, there is no one dangerous borough, just different types of neighborhoods.

First of all, the Bronx is one of 5 boros in NYC (the other 4 boros are manhattan, brooklyn, staten island and queens). Lets get that straight.
The Bronx is not a dangerous boro; it is making improvements to make it safer and easier for middle class working people to live in.

there really isn't because every city in new york has bad sides and good sides.. and the cities that are sketchy are improving like crazy.. new york is well off compared to other big cities like chicago and la
