I'm wondering. I've gotten my permit and i'm wondering if i can drive with a person of 25 in the passenger seat and a passenger in the back seat. is this leagal?

It's legal to drive with your permit but only if you're accompanied by a licesnsed driver of 25 and over, but can you also drive with a passenger on too?

If you have a parent, guardian, driving instructor, or licensed driver over 25 in the passenger seat, you can drive with other passengers.

From the CA DMV's web site: "As of January 1, 2006, a new law changes the length of time for two restrictions on your driver license, if you are under 18 years of age:

For a period of 12 months, you may not transport passengers under age 20 unless you are accompanied by a parent, guardian, instructor or licensed driver over the age of 25, and you may not drive between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m."

Depends on the type of permit you have.

If you have an M1 or M2 permit you are not allowed to carry passengers.
