First why do so many of you compare homosexuality with racism??? where in the bible does it ever speak of hating different races????
Man created racism not GOD. It's a slap in the face to black people IMO by comparring thier struggles in the USA with devaint sexual acts.. People of faith are trying to follow the Word of GOD, not by being holier than thou, but by condeming things GOD said are WRONG.
Sex out of marraige, adultery, homosexuality, beastiality a host of other sins are right in the Holy Bilbe that GOD says are
SINS...

As a society do we have the right to throw out the window things in the Bible people do not like? if that's the case why have the Holy Bilbe? why have any churches
Does the Bible have any meaning when people pick it apart?

The bible does indeed have messages of bigotry. That does not mean that God is a bigot, because God does not exist. Most of the people who wrote the Bible would be considered bigots in a modern Western society.

I don't believe in God or the Bible, so I have no reason to view homosexuality as deviant. To me, consenting adult gays aren't hurting anyone. I don't care if a grown man is happy with another grown man. I mind my own business. I don't see why the people that view it as sinful want to impose their religious beliefs into the laws. Why not protest the behavior and keep it out of politics? Anyway, there are a lot of other Biblical concepts we could make into laws. Why not start stoning people who work on the Sabbath, like the "Good Book" commands? If we're going to pick and choose, let's throw away the homophobic parts as well as the other Leviticus laws.

All the Holly Scriptures and divine gifts send to mend the ways of man. They are full of the doctorine that teach us our ways or principles to humanity. All the sins mentioned with the question are sins and God surely has severe punishment reserved for them.

Yea, along with people who follow Richard Dawkins and try to ban people's books and thinking.
