She's an older woman as well, 40ish. I'm very attracted to her. What should I do? Should I compliment her, or just ignore it? She's very beautiful. I've never been attracted to an older woman before. I'm 19.

My friend...I'm 25 and for whatever reason, have been on a major swing for older women. I always have been, but only recently have I had the confidence to actually go after them. I'm not sure what it is that drives me...maybe the sophistication, maybe the idea that they seem to truly know what they want, or maybe just a change from feeling like I always have to take control with younger women. In any case, embrace your attraction.

That said, you're only 19 and you could be venturing into dangerous waters. Chances are, your professor is not going to even consider having sex with you (although I've heard plenty of stories where they will). But, if you really want to explore the opportunity, you are her student. No professor in her right mind is going to turn down a student who "would like to meet with her and discuss some topics from class". I say, run with it. She'll take you up and if she's giving off signs of attraction, take it from there. Be a man. That's what every woman wants...whether he's younger or older. But step up to the plate and accept the challenge you've already given yourself.

Go to her office after class under the guise of having some class related questions and then compliment something about her jewelry or office and start some small talk and see if shes comfortable taking it to a personal level. Then when youre about to leave just say. Prof Smith thanks for the help. Shell say of course its my job blah blah come back any time. Then you say I enjoyed chatting with you as well. We should have a drink sometime and continue our conversation. Shell say yes or no way you little teenybopper of a man. Youll get an answer. If she says yes then you can say terrific, what night would be best for you?

You horny bum!! lol!

I don't think its a good idea.. At most I'd probably just compliment her. She's waaay to old.. Ultimately it's up to you..
Think about this.. if she turns you down you'll have a very uncomfortable time for the rest of her classes. So think before you act..

Ignore it. That's not a good situation. Just let it go. Think about her later in the night when you're... enjoying yourself. Don't bring that kind of fantasy to reality.

I would let the moment pass. You don't have to hit on every pretty woman you see. Find someone a bit more attainable and realistic to you...

Don't do anything until after the semester is over. You could jeopardize your grade by coming on to her.
