Because of their fallen sinful nature, they curse God, or Jesus Name, take his name in vain, they villify. For they are not of God, for those born of God do not continue to sin. Those who are not, do what that nature desires:
Galatians 5:19-21
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Thus we should not be suprised when they do things increasing in them, even blaspheming heavenly beings. They do so, because they have inherited the sinful nature and this once it is fully germinated and grows it produces that which is listed above
James 5:21 says:
Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?

in case you truthfully examine the bypass connection with the scripture at John 18: 6 you will see it factors to John 7:40 six the place it states "The officers spoke back: “in no way has [yet another] guy spoken like this.” They knew he grow to be the "Christ" that's Greek for Messiah. It says no longer something approximately Him being God. alongside comparable lines, shall we examine Philippians 2:9, the place the apostle Paul describes what God did after Jesus died and grow to be resurrected. The verse says: "God exalted him [Jesus] to an excellent place and kindly gave him the call it particularly is above another call." If Jesus grow to be God or equivalent to God earlier he died and God later exalted him to a greater place, might that no longer placed Jesus above God? yet how might desire to every physique grow to be more advantageous to God? And if he grow to be God earlier he died, how can God die? there is no "secret" here. Jesus is the Son of God. additionally, God continuously suggested Jesus as his son, and Jesus continuously suggested God as his father, exhibiting that God grow to be older and had greater authority. He additionally suggested that he got here to do God's will and not his very own, exhibiting 2 wills; his father and his. 2 separate wills. in case you want to bypass on believing that God has 3 heads, then you definitely could have 3 too, by using fact you have been created in his photograph!

This is a drinking question, isn't it?
But all I have is Red Bull - no Stoli at my desk.
Why do people use the "F-word" when they aren't specifically referring to sexual intercourse? It's a convention, my dear, dim-witted child. In fact, sometimes I say "Jesus F-ing Christ." But I don't actually want to have sex with Jesus. I'm not into beards, plus he apparently had an aversion to bathing.

A person does not have to believe in the background of the exclamatory statement to use said statement.
If i say "bull$hit" does that mean i have an affinity for bull feces? Saying "god damnit" does not indicate belief in god..... If it did every single religious person who said it would be defying their own commandments by using their god's name in vain.
One does not have to believe in the origin of the words to use those words.
If i told you the word "mad" was originally used mostly be nazi's in germany, would that stop you from using that word? You're not a nazi..... but does that mean you can't use the word "mad!" Belief is not a prerequisite for using the words/names of religious icons as expletives. (i.e. Jesus christ, god damnit)

Actually it makes sense that someone who doesn't believe in Jesus as part of the holy trinity would use His name irreverently.

Because such interjections have become so over used in modern culture as to be devoid of any real theological meaning.
However, most atheists avoid using such verbage entirely.
