Why?...i dont understand why they have this way of thinking... my points are the following
1) so, you go to hell no matter what, good person or bad person, it doesnt matter if you're not a muslim.
2) there are many amazing people who believe in their religion and really do good things and just because they're not muslim they go to hell...
3) how can they judge this since only God knows and decides...
i've interacted with many muslims and they have told me that i'm still young and can save myself from hell, by becoming a muslim (i'm a christian, which tries doing all the best to be a good believer) ... so they think i'm going to hell...
isnt this really terribly wrong?...as i've heard from other sources, if a muslim converts someone to islam, they go directly to heaven...is this true also?... if it is, then it is really not fair...beeing a completly bad person all your life, but converting someone would guarantee you paradise...
so, can anyone enlighten me with some answers?

I start to think sometimes that religious concepts have been influenced by the political problems of the time and place they started in... which is sad...i'm starting to think if it really matters what religion you have as long as you believe in God... please help me with some oppinions, arguments, anything...let's make it an open debate :)

You've got it all wrong.
1.Us Muslims believe that if you at least believe in God, then you go to heaven.....eventually.
2. We are not supposed to judge who goes to heaven and hell because only God can judge that.
3. Don't act like Christians don't believe that those who don't believe that Jesus is their 'lord and saviour' go to hell? There are judgemental people in all religions.
4. I don't believe that if you are a Muslim and convert someone to Islam that you go straight to heaven, but if that is the case, ask God. That's like asking Christians 'why is it that those who aren't a christian are going to hell?' That is a silly question if I asked it because its what the bible says and I don't believe it, just like you don't believe in what the Quran says.

You must be dealing with some real hardline Muslims (who don't know the Quran!). The Quran repeatedly refers to Jews and Christians as People of the Book and acknowledges that all three religions follow the same God...its just that Jews and Christians have gotten a few things wrong along the way. Traditional Islam is actually more forgiving in terms of the afterlife than traditional Christianity. For instance, babies who die go to heaven regardless of the religion of their parents, because they have had no opportunity to stray from God.

Disbelief is a sin that will keep you out of heaven, but Jewish and Christian belief counts as belief:

"Surely those who believe (Muslims) and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians whoever believes in Allah (God) and the last day and does good—they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve." Quran 5:69

Islam is no different from Christianity in that respect. Do you not believe that the only way to heaven is thru the grace of Jesus Christ? That is what makes a Christian a Christian you know. So if you turn it around, in an honest fashion, you have to say that Christians believe all non-Christians will be hell bound. According to your own doctrine if one denies Christ as the only son of God, one cannot enter heaven, and it is an either/or situation after death, you go to one or the other. So, answer your own question, phrased a bit differently if you would....Why does ANY religion espouse the idea that only they are beloved by God and therefore welcomed into heaven?

Bible and Koran are same origin from Hindru which confess there is a creator. There is only one god. Persian called ALI, Isreal called JEHOVA, Inidan called GANAPATI only the sound differently and devided to different religious. And the only one god is called by their hollyman, the followers will have differently interpretation.
What we are argueing? Besides bible, do you see other religious rules and enlightenment ways of sila, tantra, dharma?
Do you understand their meaning?
What is the meaning of heaven and hell? Those are the preferable zone or uncomfortable zone? If the changes is not good, the everlasting will be good. Heaen is everlasting then no promotion and hope.
If hell is hot, will sonja room will be hell?
You understand the situation and know how to manage, even it is hell, you still can turn it to heaven. What the big deal of heaven and hell?

You are totally wrong. Christians told me that I can only go to heaven if I accept Jesus as my Saviour. But Islam is more just. Let the Quran speak for itself!

62. Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

yes it is true, why because The Bible was changed many times by humans, but ever since The Quran(Holy Book for Muslims) was revealed not one word in it has been changed, thats why if a non-muslim turns into a muslim, he or she will also be granted paradise, your friends are telling you the truth, I am not forcing you to turn in to a muslim, but if you do you will be blessed here and in The Day of Judgement
