lol... good point, I have to laugh when they say we are killing the planet. We are only killing the environment for our survival. This planet will be around and thriving long after humans are gone

Planet of the Apes baby!
"One of the most unforgettable moments in any movie I have ever seen occurred near the end of a classic Charleton Heston epic set a thousand years in the future. Heston, a marooned astronaut on horseback, rides along a deserted beach exploring an unfamiliar planet. Suddenly, as he rounds a cliff, to his dismay and despair, there looms up before him a giant, greenish, metal arm bearing a torch. For the first time he realises that he has not landed on some upside down planet where apes rule and men are hunted like animals, but on his own planet, earth, several hundred years after a nuclear war has devastated the human population and left the apes to evolve their own higher intelligence and peculiarly superstitious society. The relic that brings this all home to him is, of course, the arm and torch of the Statue of Liberty; cut to a close-up of our hero in anguished horror, fade to black, the end."
"Damn you! Damn you all to hell!"

Bears. They are curious, omnivores, already have the ability to do quite a few things with their paws and can stand upright and walk for a short amount. They just need to develop a more social nature.

Probably a primate again if any survive. That thumb is so useful. If none survive, rats are versatile enough to get to sentient in 65 million years or less. Marine creatures will never master fire.

I believe mice will. They are able to live underground with little food, and can reproduce quickly enough that their offspring will be undamaged by radiation. Oh, insects will survive, too, especially cockroaches. I just don't think they will lead to intelligent life.
