Actually, since this is the "Travel" section, I'd think that only questions regarding travel should be posted.
I'm getting frustrated with the amount of off-topic posts here (and especially the Lebanon category and a few others).
I feel really bad for the people who have legitimate questions about traveling and/or living in a particular area -- their questions get buried and ignored, while completely irrelevant questions get posted almost non-stop.
Please, folks -- let's keep the focus in all of the Travel forums! We are not here to entertain or be entertained, we're here to help other people with travel-related questions, or ask questions ourselves.

There are diff categories on Yans , so that people can ask questions pertaining to that category and people who are interested in that particular category can answer them effectively.

Oh, please, yes! Please ask questions. People who are very knowlegable can start good discussions. Ask them on 'Ethnic Foods', too, please. Funny is always good. I often don't know what to ask and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about China and it's cuisine. Desi Chef is good, but she never asks discussion starter questions. I know a little baseball, so I ask questions there to get people to respond. I've had a good time doing that. It would be so great!

Why don't you share with us some Chinese jokes - I mean humour that is sensitive to Chinese culture only, a little different from Western humour. Of course, you'll have to translate it into English.
