Will the fact that hardly anything on the news has a reliability change the way you watch television? CNN has the highest reliability at 65%, kind of scary if you think about it.

no, i have no reason to stay away from food, not even if the FDA only inspects 1%. 49% inspection is not better. it still means that the majority of food will not be inspected. you see my drift. up to this point, i have not gotten any serious illness due to food (imported or domestic), and therefore feel as if worrying about this new "finding" will change nothing.

No, it doesn't.

If you ever eat at a fast food restaurant, than you really don't need to be concerned about the other food you eat.

The chance of the FDA finding something is really low.

And if there is something you will find out in the news.

The chance of buying food that makes you sicker than some diarrhea is really slim.

It sounds really bad, but just hope that somebody else finds/eats it, so you can find which product is bad in the news.

Absolutely not.

First of all, this is really not news. Just news to most folks that don't understand how a typical governmental agency works.

Second, there really isn't a better alternative to food buying that is safer. What makes you think that domestic equates to safer food? What about the foods that are not available domestically?

The only way to assure yourself that food is safe is to grow/cultivate/harvest/process it yourself. That is not practical for most folks.

If it says imported from Venezuela...not so much.
