Yep -- they could all be married actually or all single -- or any combination of the two. No rules here.

You write: Is it actual that single couple won't be able to be partnered on wedding ceremony entourage as bridesmaid/groomsmen? it is a 30 2d walk down an aisle. you at the instant are not pairing everyone up for existence. it is in basic terms 30 seconds. Your attendants could be married, single, divorced, widowed, despite. they could be finished strangers. you may have a 40-year-previous walk with a sixteen-year previous. It does no longer remember. by no skill ever heard of this superstition. I advise you ignore approximately it . . . and have a stunning wedding ceremony! You write: the bride won't be able to placed on the marriage dress till the special day??? LOL. nicely, it is yet another stupid one, isn't it? How will the bride understand if her dress even suits if she by no skill tries it on?

They dont have to be married, its up to the soon to be husband and wife. In my wedding we chose our best friends. My best friend was my maid of honor and his best friend was his best man. For the rest of the party we chose my close friends to be the bridesmaids and his close friends were the groomsmen. One couple were married and another one were dating for a while, but we also had single friends.

Let me put it this way, my beloved and I had nine attendants between us and two of them were single...and one of them was twelve years old. In fact, I'd been a bridesmaid to three of my bridesmaids.

Once upon a time it was considered important that the bridesmaids all be single, but that went out with corsets and horse-drawn carriages. Now one simply picks the people one is closest to without regard to whether or not they are married.

NO! There is no rule about that. All the weddings that I have been in, (or been invited to) include both married people and single people. Some couples, some married and their spouse isn't part of the wedding party etc.

Of course they can-I´ve been in 3 weddings where the wedding party had married people in it, and single people in it. Good question though-you will learn so much at this site.

YES THEY CAN. All but two of my bridesmaids were married and the best man was actually married to one of my bridesmaids. They are supposed to be people that are special to you. Marital status does not matter. Best of luck and congratulations!

Of course they can.
A matron of honour can be a maid of honour(single person) too.
There are no rules that the wedding party needs to be single.

Of course not!!, They should be people that have a special presence in your life. Even if it's just your or the brides life, they should be people that are there to share in your happiness! If they all happen to be single, fine, if they aren't that's fine also. All that is important is that they are there to share in your special day and wish you both the BEST!!!

absolutely, why would you only know single people for your wedding party. Aren't any of your friends married or engaged? What about family, are any of them married? Silly question
