May i ask you if you have felt unwell as you said you felt it was healing.I am asking that because i am a medium and that has happened to me many times and i am used to it now.You will have been taken in a trance like state for them to minister healing to you and when they have finished they will let you wake up.Did you feel better for it ?do not worry about it, i know it can be scary but it is only our fear of the unknown.spirit help us a lot more than you will ever know.

hmm, it depends on whether the hands are warm or not.
I think it's a lot to do with how you feel when it is happening in the dream. If the 'hands' are warm or intimate then I think it has something to do with being passive, sexually.
If they are cold, it's also about lack of control but more horrific I suppose or more about 'life' or 'the world' or massive forces you can't control.

One thing this seems to indicate is the feeling of being trapped unable to express yourself or escape what this seems to show is that you despretly want to escape and because you can't you feel distressed. Maybe this could be how you feel in reality that you want to say something or do something but you can't. Or a lack of control that you want to do something but someone is holding you back. Also maybe someone in your life isn't showing you who they are or that getting to know them is scary. The hands healing you may be someone helping you in life but you don't want them to get to close when you know you need them. So maybe if you sort out the distress in your life you won't dream these dreams.

It happens to a lot of people. It's called sleep paralysis and the best thing to do is carry on sleeping until you can wake up properly.

Relax before going to bed, and instead of watching a TV program, read or listen to music before you sleep!

Perhaps there's a situation in your waking life that you feel is out of your control, or something is just out of your grasp.
