go get a retro kit at the parts store if it uses old skol freon and then go get a guage incase you ever fill it then you can blow internal parts and really mess up your a/c

you 98 dodge should have had r-134a to begin with. any auto parts store should have a recahrge kit availible. most discount chains (wal-mart) also carry them in the automotive dept. it is best to check it for leaks though as it will not work long if it leaks back out.

The easiest way is to go to the parts store and ask for a retrofit kit. It will have everything you need and instructions on how to do it.

go to any pep boys or kragen auto parts they sella recharge bottles with guage and hose to recharge your system yourself for 20.00dlls but check if you dont have any leaks in your system first

MCL is correct, but it won't work nearly as well as it did with R12. SOrry
