Here are 6 reasons why I'm against illegal immigration in to the United States.
1.It's illegal. How can any responsible citizen support something that has the word illegal in it?
2.Illegal immigrants are responsible for more crime then native born Americans.
3.Some of them are members of violent street gangs like MS-13 from Central America.
4.It hurts poor native born Americans by lowering job wages.
5.I think that the pro-illeagl immigrant side & groups that support illegal immigration like MEChA & La Raza are also anti-White.
6.A lot of the illegal immigrants don't want to become Americans & don't assimilate. They just want the American money. They are usually proud Mexican nationals who just live in America & don't care about our laws or traditions.

My reasons are the same as yours but I would also add that they raise prices and use our tax money through education and social programs meant for our poor citizens.
They also lower the educational standards. Many American children are not learning as they should due to the illegal children in school.

Good point, fed ex Chick. I am an immigrant from Russia. I moved to Alaska, USA, went through all INS steps to obtain green card and in Nov.2005 passed my citizenship test.

Alaska has a huge Russian and Samoa communities, way bigger than Latino community. However, we do not hear "press 3 for Russian" or "Press 4 for Samoan", but only Spanish. Why is that??? Are they that dumb or is the reason perhaps because Mexico borders with the US. But we do not hear "Press 5 for Canadian" (or French for that matter)!!!

I agree with the major point - ILLEGALS ARE NOT LEGAL RESIDENTS AND MUST LEAVE!

I work my a** off, pay taxes and bills on time, built my house and obey the Law of the Land I want to call my home. But then we hear stories about illegal Mexican girl who is getting a heart transplant. Or a domestic violence between two spouses who are illegally employed in some Inn. One of them ended up in a hospital.

Who is paying their bills??? Us ~ legal immigrants and citizens who is buried in taxes.

Indeed illegals come to the US to work for almost nothing, but is it good to employ them? What about citizens? They are on welfare because there are no jobs!

Who is paying their bills?? It is us again...

As I said, I went through Immigration and Naturalization service, I have done every little thing they told me, I learned English and if I could do it everybody can.

You are correct about 2 of 6. It's illegal.

Which covers 1 and 2. Because anyone who is an illegal alien is also by definition a criminal, since they are committing a crime.

3 is meaningless since some of every group are criminals.
4 is not correct because minimum wages are fixed by law.
5 is not born out by the facts, but you're entitled to your prejudices if you want them.

6 is just flat our wrong by definition. An immigrant is someone who comes here to live. So, by definition, someone cannot be an immigrant and not want to be part of this culture.

As far as "assimilating" that concept is meaningless unless you assume that there is one single American culture to which everyone must conform. There never has been since this country was founded, and every group from every nation that has ever immigrated to the US has retained their own culture and blended it. That's why the US was called "the great melting pot".

So, other than be opposed to people who willfully break the law --- but then again, so does our current president.

1. Uncontrolled immigration puts strains on present infrastructure and social services.
2. In a world where we are so concerned about terrorism, to be at war in other countries and not have our own borders secured is pretty counterproductive.

I'm all for legal immigration; my parents are immigrants. The U.S. has to grow accordingly and not unpredictably. Nothing against those trying to come here to work, but they have to follow the rules and wait in line just like those who are trying to come here legally.

edit - Coragryph hit the nail on the head.

It represents a threat to national security, it's causing rampant identity theft (and other crimes), and it circumvents labor-protection laws that past generations fought bitterly to obtain.

Illegal immigration also threatens diversity - since illegals can come overwhelmingly from one or a few countries, rather than from all over the world, as legal immigrants do.

You are all right. When my job got slow, I had to get umemployment for a few weeks. When I caled to apply the first thing I heard was "Press1 for English". I just can't understand how you get benfits if you can't speak English. Why are we catering to them? I didn't press 1 for Engilsh and I didn't press 2 for Spanish, I just waited. Then it continued automatically continued in Spanish. WHF! This is a load of crap! If you come to America, do it legally and learn to freakin speak English!!!!!!

You took most of the good answers. But you didn't mention all of their unpaid medical bills and the fact that they are lowering the averages of our schools and taking more in welfare than they pay in taxes, and don't forget the fact that we are footing their bills! Also their radical groups are talking about over throwing our government! There are lots more but my fingers are tired now.

They are afraid and frustrated but fail to see the real cause of their problems, government corruption and misspending. NOT poor workers. So if white people were to move to say australia and SOME were part of the KKK or national alliance, does that mean they all have to go? That's backwards, ignorant thinking. By the way, White power gangs in prison make up less than one tenth of a percent of the prison pop., but commit 20% of the murders. So WE'RE more violent? are you sure about that? I personally think a lot of minorities are set up that way by cultural manipulation through media, such as constant portrayal of gangsters as heroes to blacks and hispanics, but as enemies to whites.
