30-45 seconds. Slice the hot dog lengthwise, though, or at least poke some holes in it. Otherwise it'll explode!! (really though)

Hotdogs don't cook in a microwave. They are already pre-cooked. Read the wrapper sometime. When you reheat one in the microwave, 30 - 45 seconds on high is usually sufficient.

Depends on the wattage of the microwave. Usually a single hot dog takes 45 seconds to a minute to cook. Pierce the skin with a fork in several places to avoid ballooning.

Slit the hot dog down the middle, but not in half. Cook it for a min but take it out after 45 seconds if it looks done. Boiling hot dogs works better though.
