I have of late began to realize that day by day we are closer to the return of Christ. I mean I really feel it, and I see it in all the media and the way technology is rushing to meet the demand of the one world government, that will soon be imposed on all people.
Romans 13:10-14 reads
10 Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
11 And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.
14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
R we in the last days? Any thoughts?

When I read this passage of the Bible recently I was taken aback at how this behavioe we are cautioned against is proliferated on the internet, TV, educational systems, everywhere. I grew up in the in the 60's and 70's and the stuff we and our children are exposed to now was unheard of in my day. I don't want to stifle technology, but what about these debit cards that you just pass by a reader and pay (no pin required) it will lead to a system of implantation soon, and pass a body part in front of scanner, and pay. No implant no commerse.
How much more self gratification is needed for people to see and "wake up from their slumber"?

Yes, we are in the last days! No doubt about that! The very prophecies cry out this truth!
The EXPLOSION of knowledge
Son against Father, and so on...
Confusion between what is sin and non-sin
Man's "to and fro" ...living too fast
Wars and rumors of war...on and on!
Earthquakes and other geological happenings
Another thing it proves...God's WORD NEVER returns void!

I absolutely agree. I had a vision back in 2001 of being taken up in the air into heaven and the pathway of flowers and their different colours were spectacular. I have had the same urgency from other christian friends too. The bible is very clear about the signs of the last days and I believe we are witnessing the prophecies before our eyes.
So I pray those that read your question will take the bible seriously - Flooding is also very serious in England at the moment and I believe worse is to come.
So for those that shun these warnings I pray you will change your mind and repent. God is real, Jesus is alive and will return again, if it was soon 2,000 years ago it is even closer now.
'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton son that whosoever believeth in Him will not die but have eternal life'.
I plead seriously with anyone who does not believe to change your mind, don't be stubborn and take it seriously. Things are going to get a lot worse believe me - the bible says this - Today is the day of salvation - believe in Jesus He is the Only way to God. There is no other way - Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I agree with you. We are living in the end time. We are facing the end of the world. I feel in this generation we will see all things prophecied being fulfilled.
2 Peter 3:1-11 (King James Version)
1This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
We know about the one world goverment goal, and the need for them to identify people. They came up with a computer chip.
I have set in a meeting with one of the inventors of this chip. He told about how they went about to find away to identify individuals. A electronic computer chip was the answer the panel had came up with.
One of the concerns they had with a chip implanted in the human body was the battery in the chip needed a way to recharge itself. The battery in the chip need a certain temperature to recharge itself. After much research and study on the human body they found the two best places to put the chip (even though it can be installed anywhere) was in the back of the hand and in the forehead about the hair line.
The chip has enough technology to hold all the personal information that anyone would need, including credit information and bank account numbers.
We have already heard about identification cards for humans, but cards can be stolen.
With the places they need to implant these is it a coincidence where they want to place it. The Bible said "IN" the right hand or forehead.
Some say it is our thoughts and actions, it may be, that is how we are know as saints or sinners now.
What we don't know is what or how the system will be or act exactly. What would make this system so evil that being a part of it would cause God to reject you. Sin has to be a big factor behind this beast system. I don't believe he will come out at first and say I am the beast take this chip and follow me. Even if for some reason it was not this chip in order to take the mark, we would have to follow that system some kind of way, according to the Bible. The anti-christ caused all small, great, rich, poor, free and bond to receive a mark.
Read Revelation 13:16-18
Here is wisdom, the MARK is the number of a man.
No one may buy or sell unless they had the MARK, or the NAME OF THE BEAST, or the NUMBER OF HIS NAME.

We are close to the last days and the signs of the times are already being fulfilled. The earth is close to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ's return. Once the economy fails which i feel is very close, the world is going to be plunged into darkness and war fare and the only way out would be the second coming of Jesus Christ. You will see at the last day what happens, but i am positive that the second coming will be during my lifetime. Wether i live through the trials before hand, i dont know, because it has been writtian some where that the people who are living through the trials of the second coming are going to be enving the dead. But, yes we are in the last days. Look, things which are crimes back then in biblical times are common day occurances such as fornication, homosexuality, alcholism, disgrasing God and every thing that is a comandment in the bible. Now it acceptable and even protected by the law in some aspects. The world has become the new babylon or sodom and gommorah. And the world is going to meet the same fate that those citys had.

I dont think that within 500 years debet-credit-chips will be implanted into humans.
In each time there are people who thinks that the end-time is near.
Things change all the time, sometimes to the bad side somtimes to the good side.
I believe that human species will be gone within 300 ~ 1000 years, because of pollution of the earth and diseases and the fact that until now all technolgical societies lasted for less than 300 years., the collapse after that time.

Bob, I so agree with you. I was raised in the same era as you and the speed with which this world is escalating is a bit frightening and a prophecy at best.
God will soon have no more patience on the wicked as in Sodom and Gomorrah or Noah's time.
I feel deep in my soul that something is about to happen. Nearly all of the prophesies have been fulfilled. Jesus did say we will know not the hour or day but he did not say year. I spoke with a very humble religious teacher a few weeks ago who has studied prophecies for years. He told me a month and year which I will not repeat but it is near regardless.
Our goal is to be ready and bring all lost souls to God.

it particularly is perhaps via fact african individuals, latinos, and asians are minorities for the main section. starting to be golf equipment like those will supply a great gamble to permit persons of comparable backgrounds to appreciate one yet another and talk comparable themes they have particular to their race which includes traditions. additionally, they'd have comparable hobbies which includes videos or song from their community international locations that they'd talk approximately. in spite of the shown fact that, i'm particular a caucasion club could be created at your college in case you come again up with a physically powerful adequate reason =)

What I realize about the "last days" is that it's all a matter of perspective. Time to God is defined on many levels. The end could be tomorrow or the last days could mean the last century.
I'm thinking I won't worry about the "last days" and live for today.

The "end-times" began with the establishment of the Church on Pentecost after Christ's Ascension. Since then we have witnessed horrors and blessings, but when we look at eschatology in the Bible, it would be difficult to not see modern times as the last days. At the very least, we see the last days fast approaching.

Bob,
I am an atheist and see that there are many possibilities which would prove your point: rampant disease (SARs), world war (nuclear, biological), etc. However, I try to be positive and remember that if the "last days" are near, that there is nothing we can do about it. So there is no point in spending time worrying about it. All I can do is continue to be a good person and lend a helping hand when I can.

all I can tell you is that Christians in every century have read those words and thought: "that is going on right now!" The most influential creed in the English Civil War was "Repent, for the day of the Lord is at hand!" Hence the Fifth Monarchy Men, who thought they could speed the whole thing up a little. Or look into the history of the Jehovah's Witnesses. What do you see? Are your interpretations qualitatively different from the Millerite movement? If so, what is the difference? I get leaflets from apocalyptic movements in the mail from time to time, and I have to say the difference between them and this:

is negligible. The dates are changed, that's all.
