I'm curious to see if people are actually objective with their own religion?

If you can actually answer this question it would mean that you have actually evaluated your choosen religion.

If you can't answer this question, it would mean that you have no objectivity when looking at your religion.

Not that I consider it a religion, but you should not be atheist if you really like the idea of an omnipotent being that sees everything you do and judges you harshly and irreversibly for it. Hmm, that's not very objective, is it?

Interesting question. haha.

Hinduism. Dont join because...

a) alot of hindus dont see beyond the idols and understand the deeper meaning of the vedas

b) the vedas are some deep ****. You need a really open, mature, imaginative mind to grasp some concepts

c)The ritualism is annoying

d) the caste system is just ******

e)You get alot of stupid questions from non-hindus asking you to explain your beliefs

f)If you want certitude and comfort of heaven and guaranteed bliss and all that jazz.. well hinduism is just depressing, then.

g) There is no dogma in hinduism. So you cant rely on anything at all to defend your stand.

h) there aint no funky sunday service with live bands preaching the glory of siva

And last but not least...
you CANT join hinduism. Like I said there is no dogma, and there is no one set of beliefs. It is possible for alot of hindus to become effectively atheistic or free thinking, while hindu at the same time. The range is so wide and tolerant that just about anyone can claim to be hindu.

Good news everyone!

Farnsworthism is taking off like the Planet Express ship. You shouldn't not join. We take basic principles of science.... and actually LEARN from them.

because it's all foma (lies). In fact, Bokonon said so himself. The title page of the book of Bokonon says:

"Don't be a fool! Close this book at once! It is nothing but foma!"

So yeah, don't say nobody warned you!
