There definitely wont be a war in the sense of military combat, maybe this is the begining of another cold war though, a war of words and ideologies. The Russian government feels threatend not just by the UK but by the USA and Europe as well. Democracy is working in the EU and its getting bigger. Leaving a Jealous Russia in the cold. One day soon the Russian people will revolt against Putin. But then again Russia has lots of oil so there may be a cou, masterminded by the US so it can get more favourable rates for its oil.

It is quite clearly not going to happen. Ever since the second world war, if not even before that, Russia and the West generally, have been been playing brinkmanship: really, during the Cold War, the likelihood of actual conflict only really came anything like close during the Cuban Missile crisis. The current diplomatic friction is really nothing like as serious, and really doesn't come anywhere close war: it is in neither countries interest, and America (the all-powerful) simply wouldn't let it happen anyway.

I don't think so just because of that incident. Russia is no longer a communist country so they have nothing to be mad at each other about. Also if Russia and Britian got into a war then the us would have to get into the middle of that and Russia and the US would not want that to happen another cold war would be a drag also Britian is no push over either Russia probably could beat Britian in a full scale war with nuclear weapons, but Russia probably has a shitty navy no offense to Russia. Britian has one of if not the best navy's in the world. so i don't think that either of these countries is going to war with each other.

There will be no war over this little spat, to much investment going on between Russia and the UK.
Putin likes to see the Sterling come rolling in.
Besides if Russia picks on ther UK the EU and NATO will be bought into play and the ruskies dont want that.

Im ~British but I think Russia has a point here , they have asked for the extradition of 21 russian exiles seeking assylum in the UK and all have been turned down so how can Britian expect Russia to tow the line on extradition treaty's . I think britian should look at teh bigger picture and see they cant grant exile to people seeking assylum when in fact they a criminals on the run.

Its doubtful that a war will break out between Britain and Russia as there are other more serious problems. Neglecting Israel will be the downfall of Britain if it chooses to pander the muslim and arab comunity, God says in His word that He will Bless those that bless Israel and curse those who curse her' enough said!

well Britain will go to war with Russia via Lebanon ,remember when British special forces and UN dudes went into Lebanon last year, and then Israel moved in and cleaned up the mess? well Russia has a pact with Syria and Syria has a pact with Iran soooo Syria Russia Iran and any others maybe Saudi Arabia , whom we have trained and armed i might add, will combine there forces and there will be some serious damage to both sides, with more then likely Israel being invaded and occupied

No, Brown knows are troops are demoralised and poorly equipped.
Russia is run by intelligent ex KGB officers who are far too smart to risk losing their money invested in oil and gas (as opposed to our pathetic UK soap-box pinko-revolutionaries).
If Russia really gets pissed off- it will turn off the taps and really get the population mad at Labour.
It beggars belief that a "refuge" can afford a house in Bishop's Gate wouldn't you agree?
Wouldn't happen to be because he's a close friend of Lord Levy and a Labour contributor would it?

There's going to be no war between the UK and Russia. The tit for tat expulsion of diplomats is all part of the pathetic political/diplomatic game that goes on between various countries every now and then. It's nothing unusual and nothing to worry about.
