Other than the Bible do you always believe everything your hear, see and read from those who are not Christians?
You claim your Christian as well ....yet I'm reading that you too are judging by throwing stones at pastors. You use words such as hate pastors and those who attend a church, and may have an addiction to alcohol, cigarettes, drugs and pornography. They are people who are not perfect and don't claim to be, but know they are sinful in need of a Savior.
Your ranting about throwing stones yourself at such things against fellow believers in Christ Jesus is o.k. in your book?
Not everyone you see in a church building and including some so called pastors are saved by the grace of God.
You must not judge harshly as a fellow believer in Christ by what you are lumping together as the body of Christ.

Christans are human. ALL too often I think people expect Christians to be SUPER HUMAN. Yes we should have MORE self control if we are being guided by the Holy Spirit, and the "fruits of the spirit should be evident, like LOVE, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness and faith."
SO in saying that, why do YOU think it's OK as a Christian to throw rocks at people who sin, just like YOU? That makes you no different than the person throwing rocks at gay people....
Think about it ...
Have a good one =)

1) As a Christian, I don't believe I'm better than anyone.
2) I wouldn't want to throw rocks at anyone. Rather, I would hope that the people you mentioned above would repent and show that Christians are called to love others.

As Christians we are supposed to put others above ourselves. We are ALL sinners, and when you fully give your life to Christ, the Holy Spirit come and lives in you and convicts you of all sin.
Therefore anyone throwing stones at another person would be more like the pharisees Jesus spoke against.
A true "christian" or better said "follower of Christ" should have too much love in their heart to condemn another person in such a way. We must rememeber that we will be judged how we have judged others.

That's a sad situation for sure.
If half the people that said they were Christians really followed the teachings, the world would be a better place, that's for sure.
But don't let the idiots of Luke warm Christianity mare your vision of most Christians.
There are really great ones , who strive and actually show the true Christianity each and every day.
Just like in every religion or doctrine you got the false and you got the true.

I am a Christian. I certainly wouldn't say that "we" ALWAYS think we're better than anyone. I know I'm not. God says we are all equal in his eyes. I believe that. As for throwing rocks and judging....I'm here on earth to learn and become better for God, not worry about who is doing what. Although I may not like or agree with others' actions, it's not up to me to decide or live with others' poor choices. As for throwing rocks, that's just wrong.

A true Christian would not likely participate in these terrible activities. However, someone that mistakenly believes they are Christian might.
In any event, Christians should know better than most that they are nothing more than "filthy rags". Therefore to suggest we are better than someone else is ridiculous.

I am sympathetic to your views. Although I am not Christian, I have experienced this unkind, judgmental behavior. I will Not give these people any excuse for their poor, ignorant behavior; however, I have found that they are taught this view in their churches. This behavior saddens and frustrates me to no end! ...and they say they are all about forgiving, yet, their ugly and unacceptingly of diversity. I believe this only points out how unsure of themselves they really are...sad.

the way I see it--God says in KJV of the bible that no sin is greater than another--sin is sin---no one should throw rocks--as Jesus shows us with the prostitute in the Bible where he says--Those of you without sin--cast the first stone--they all walked away and Christ said to her--"Woman where is thine accusers?" But then he said--go your way and sin no more!
We all sin but when we repent to Jesus and ask forgiveness, we are no longer sinning until our next sin occurs! Do unto others as you would have them do unto you not do unto others how they do to you--remember? Keying his car is wrong and although homosexuality is spoken against in the KJV Bible, we do not have the right to judge--only God!
God taught me a great lesson about ministers once--that they are human--just like myself--and they might sin too--of course I think they have a responsibility to be a good role model to others but then again, we all do! Think about it!
