Its been suggested that Judea had a cold spell, and none of the others had ever seen ice, and that was how he walked on water.

Jesus walked on the sea of Galilee and seas usually don't freeze. It takes longer for larger amounts of water to heat and cool and the salinity in the water makes it even more difficult to happen. And right before Jesus walked on water wasn't he in a boat? How do you go boating on ice?

No. In the story, the sea was just in a storm which would have caused waves that would preclude the solid ice from forming. In addition, the ice could not have formed that rapidly in a natural environment at that latitude.

No. He was walking on water.

And to the one who thinks there is no proof that Jesus existed . . . there is actually more historical documentation that Jesus existed than there is that Julius Caesar existed. Jesus was written about in many secular, public documents by leaders, including those in the Roman Empire who wrote among themselves about what to do to deal with him and how to handle his followers.

No, that would be an even greater miracle though. The water there isn't going to freeze and the disciples were fishing in a boat when it happened.

Read the original gospel. He is in a boat at night and in the morning he is back on shore. There are no witnesses. Did he row back in? Did he swim? Did he walk in shallow water? You decide.

That was a riddles of believing in youself.
That nothing is impossible.
With our creator's universal gifts of life.
Ever wonder do we have those gifts inside us?
Look around at the mess out there.
How we live in misery with "Fear is the key" getting ourselves kick on the butts .

I am sorry that you got such rude answers. Basically, though, it is not a good idea to question folklore. Much of it is unprovable and exists only to make a point. In the case of Jesus, for instance, there is no proof that he ever existed. Even if someone did walk on water, there is no way scientists can ever verify the facts of that experiment. It is possible to be a good scientist and still believe in god, but it is best not to mix religion with science. Science cannot be proven on relgious grounds and religion cannot be validated by science.

Jesus is the son of God and He was given authority over all the earth. He was walking. God Bless
25During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. 27But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." 28"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." 29"Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" 31Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?" 32And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God."
