Depends on the lady, but in my opinion, it doesn't have to cost a lot. A simple dinner at a decent sit down restaurant is nice but it doesn't have to be expensive. A walk through a nice park, or a couple of games of mini golf, or a visit to someplace special that you like, a museum, an art gallery, or even a hobby or craft store would be fun. Remember that the point is to get to know each other. A quiet activity that reflects your interests will tell her something about you. A big, noisy, expensive activity like show or concert or even a movie doesn't really allow you any quality time together.

Take her out to eat so yall can get to know each other better. If there's a carnaval or amuesment park nearby....take her there also. Save going to the movies for another date.

You can tell her to met you at a restraunt or go to the movies. A walk in the park, followed by a meal is very inexpensive.
