It was the HUMAN race. Language in its complex modern form dates back to the very first community of Homo sapiens sapiens about 150,000 years ago in Africa. From there, as Homo sapiens sapiens spread across the globe, language went with him. It is a fundamental part of what makes modern man "human".

That would be the human race.
At the time language symbology began to emerge, mankind had not developed different races. The earliest recorded language concepts are from the Paleolithic era, like the cave paintings in Lescaux France. But the earliest language was probably a combination of grunts and other noises and hand signs. It progressed through the centuries to what we now think of as verbal language.

You and I aren't the only ones. First, our brains have the capacity of use language -- this is something that evolved over a long time. It's not something people consciously decided to do. The creators of new languages, we currently believe, are children -- if there isn't a full language available to them, and there are a group of them, they'll create a language. (Groups of deaf kids, in cities, developed sign languages; kids where a mixture of pidgin languages, but not one full language, cobble together the bits of pidgin and available languages and develop a full language.) One current theory is that we used gestures, and combinations of gestures and sounds, before we had fully developed languages. It would be interesting to really understand, but, of course, all we can do is speculate and conjecture -- based on what other, closely-related critters do, and on physical evidence. It IS a brain-breaker.

Humanity has had spoken language for at least 100,000 to 200,000 years. Humanity has only had written language for about 4,000 years. Humanity has had audio recordings for about a century. Unfortunately, the spoken word doesn't leave a trace for later generations to investigate, so the origins of language are lost in the shadows of prehistory.

It was the Hebrew language. The reason why we have different languages is because when a lot of people decided to build an unwanted building to "touch God". God did not like it, so when they were building it, God gave every one different speakings. So they couldn't understand the orders the king or leader gave them. The ones who shared the same language moved to one part of the world and thats how it started.
