His kingdom and rid the world of all it's trouble that it has now - is it because you don't want to be responsible to anyone?

There much evidence that all the gods of all religions are man-made superstitions. If you look into the histories of each, you can see this. And if you look into human nature, you see a strong tendency to make up and strongly believe in superstitions, myths, and urban legends.

On the other hand, there is just no real evidence of any gods existing.

It's simple. We have the facts on our side, and all you have is wishful thinking.

As for your last claim, no, I'm responsible to many people. Most of the atheists I know, which are many, are also very responsible people. Sorry, your parting claim is also without basis.

Why is it so hard for you to believe that Jesus already returned and has already begun setting up his new Earthly kingdom? Lots of people have already claimed to be the returned messiah, (Rev Moon, etc).

Or, why is it so hard for you to believe that Vishnu will return in a new incarnation to right all wrongs on the Earth and end the age of the Kali Yuga?

Or, why is it so hard for you to believe that Jesus never existed, or changed his mind, or got lost on the way back?

What you are talking about is just another belief that is not supported by any evidence at all. Why WOULD anyone believe it? Basically, because people often choose to believe what they want to believe. However, there are some people that prefer to try to avoid self-delusion and try to be honest with themselves and others. Those people don't decide to just "have faith" in baseless ideas.

At any rate, there are very few humans that manage not to be responsible to someone or another. In fact, unless you want to be a totally isolated hermit, you have to accept being responsible to someone. So, your supposed theory for why people do not rush to accept your baseless belief is obvious hogwash.

people believe different things. There is much scientific evidence that he does not exist and that the theory of creationism is false. Of course, everyone has the right to believe what they want, so if they do not believe in God or Jesus, that is there right as a human being. That is the only reason people don't believe. They just don't.

Because the independent authors in the area around the time of Jesus say not one thing about a man who walked on water healed the sick and had a major following. Not one. There are over five hundred contradictions in the bible, man's creation or Gods?

Why is it so hard for you to believe that you're wrong?

Why do you believe that man is not perfect yet your interpretation of not only the bible but creation and divinity is 100% flawless?

Why do you believe you believe that our lack of faith comes from a lack of responsibility for our actions when you do the same things you just beg for forgiveness from something that doesn't exist and we think about our mistakes and learn from them other than just saying 10 hail mary's calling it good then doing it again because we know we'll be forgiven?

Who are you to say what i can believe?

Shame on you.

Why is it so hard for you to believe in Zeus?
Why is it so hard for you to believe in Allah?
Why is it so hard for you to believe in Ahura Mazda?
Why is it so hard for you to believe in the Invisible Pink Unicorn?
Why is it so hard for you to believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

There are hundreds of gods you know aren't real - the only one you think is real is the one your parents told you was real. Coincidence?

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

ROTFLMAO

How many times are you people going to ask this same question? I do not believe because I simply do not believe. Disbelief has nothing to do with responsibility. Why is it so hard for you to understand that your little mythology is not for everyone?

It's because the story is made up. There is nothing even close to proof for and and tons of proof against the bible. MADE UP. Why is that so hard for you to believe. Is it because your too scared to accept responsibility for your self?

Why is it so easy for people to believe in god and that he will send JC to the earth?

That seems to be a much better question....

on the contrary, because we choose to be responsible and not blame the evils of the world or delegate the fixing of them to some all-seeing, all-knowing, all-powerful mystical being that will allow it to go on for a specified amount of time chosen by his whim before magically making it all better.
