Is this really about him taking over the car, only? Or does it seem to turn out that in many situations he is selfish? Is it really worth it to argue over material items. Love goes so much futher than that of materialistic things. Try sitting down and analyzing your relationship as a whole. Maybe sit and make a list of qualities you look for in your significant other. Does he qualify, according to your list, or is it much more to it than just this car? If he does indeed qualify, then maybe he just got caught up in the new "toy". Therefore, to calm things down a little, you can either fall back some, and let him get it out of his system, until he is no longer amused with it....OR....you both can sit like 2 mature adults and discuss the matter on how you both feel to the situation, and then come to an agreement. If he supposedly bought the car for you, then you must be in a serious relationship, and those in a serious relationship "usually" share things 50/50. These are issues that need to be discussed in order to know each others role in the relationship. Again, materialistic items are not worth breaking the foundation of love, if that is what your relationship is truly built on.....you feel me?

Need some more details. Do you live together? Did he buy it for you as a gift? Is this the sole means of transportation for the two or you?
With that aside I've always been fortunate and when in a long term relationship I've always been given the nicer car/newer car. It's the gentlemanly thing to do. Your safety and well being should come first. I hate to say it but your man is very selfish and if he's fighting with you over a machine you should probably look deeper into your relationship. Is he worth it?

Tell him that if he wanted the car for himself then he should have not told you he bought it for you. Ask him what is more important, the car or you? And ask yourself the same question.

Yeah, he brought you the car but he won't let you drive it. Sounds like it is his car and not your gift. Girl, don't depend on no man, get your own car. If your name is on the title it is yours, be independent.

lets him have that stupid car if he like it so..ooo much..!!
not worth fighting with him for that ##***&&%% car...
its only make your relationship sour...
and some more u didn't spend a single cents...its his money..lets him have it..
don't qurrel with him over this small matter... tell him he can have that car..but at the same time make him your driver..(without telling him). just tell him to drive u to where u want to be...
then u got a car and a driver..without u spending a single cents.

honey, he lied. He didn't buy it for you. He bought it for his self. He was just being an *** and trying to make you think initially he was handling his business. Just don't ask him about that damn car. Now you know what kind of selfishness is in him.
