The claim is that men wrote the Bible as inspired by God. Spirits don't write. So you are correct in saying that God did not write the Bible and that men wrote the Bible. God, however, is in his word; a statement no human can make.
Your logic might include the fact that the Bible is 66 books more or less. As stated we can assume, since men lie, that anything written by a man is a lie? Now that I know what the problem is; I'm signing up right now for the "Book of the That Time of the Month Club."

The Bible is a book of short stories, written by people who heard what God has told them. Given that, what would happen to someone today if they wrote a book talking about how God spoke to them? They would be locked up in a padded cell. What I don't get is, if the Bible was written by what God has spoken, why does it end? If God had spoke with these people, don't you think he would have spoken to many others? There should be volumes of Bible's then, but that book ends, so does that mean that God is no longer speaking to humans? Or are humans too stupid to write more about what God has spoken to them? The thing is, if someone does that, first, no one will believe that person, and second, they will think that person is crazy, but back then, the people who wrote the Bible were to be believed that that is what God said to them.
Oh, and if you tell me some quote from the Bible saying God is real and that the Bible is fact, that would be like me telling you I am God, and you believing me just because I told you.

The Bible is more than a book. It is history. Although some believe that the so called "miracles" did not happen, some can be proven by geological evidence....not as miracles, but natural occurances. In that way, the bible is a record of the past, like any other ancient script. It's a story, written by people from the past. It may be fiction, but you could argue it is the greatest literary achievement of all time.

your equations/syllogisms get deeply wrong at the end ("men lie" = "the Bible is a lie")
The fact the men lie is only part of the truth. Men can also tell the truth. Which means, the Bible can be either be wholly true, wholly false, or partly true. Draw Venn diagrams if you must.
That said, I believe that we shouldn't read the bible as we would read the newspapers or our history books or science books (literally). It's a human story full of meaning that goes beyond saying exactly how many days there were in creation, because that would be shallow.

"men lie", you mean "men always lie"?
That is either a feminist or a theological idea, and in both cases I think it is a little exaggerated. Some things in the Bible make a lot of sense, others were made up and others were just plain mistakes. I don't think there are that many deliberate lies in it. No I don't agree with "the Bible is a Lie" any more than I would agree with "Herodotus' "Inquiries" is a lie", even though there are many weird stories in there that obviously did not happen the way he describes them.

There have been hundreds of books written on the subject of the evidences of the divine inspiration of the Bible, and these evidences are many and varied. Most people today, unfortunately, have not read any of these books. In fact, few have even read the Bible itself! Thus, many people tend to go along with the popular delusion that the Bible is full of mistakes and is no longer relevant to our modern world.
You have to open up your heart not just your eyes. Don't be blind.

Second Timothy 3 Verses 1-5 . But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
Sounds Familuar . I have not found one single thought in the bible that can be proved to be a lie.

That is only your opinion. Just as we can't prove that God exists, you cannot prove He doesn't exist; so you can't prove that the Bible was not inspired by God. Just like everyone who gives me a "thumbs-down". Doing that won't change the fact that God exists. It only points out that their opinion differs from mine.

it all depends on the person!! i believe the bible is a fictional book written to help people understand why they are here, and to try to give basic guidelines of the way to live your life. that's what i think, some people agree and some don't. your theory also seems like it could be correct in my eyes
