Living in someone else's world?
In the song sung by Gladys Knight and the Pips,
she sings that she would rather live in his world than with out him in mine. I don't get it. Does she not want to live and have her own life. I don't call that love. what do you think?

I think what the song means is that she would rather compromise to get along than stand her ground and lose him. Compromise is a part of all relationships and it's something we all have to be able to do to get along in this world. Don't think that every body is going to go along with your ideas and thoughts because they won't. And that's what makes life so interesting. Be willing to listen because he might just have a better idea!

No she is saying that he is leaving, no matter what, he is going back to whatever he is used to. So instead of staying behind with what she is used to, she loves him enough to go with him. That is love. She loves him enough know that without him her world is nothing. She and him can make a new world together.

Sounds a bit to me like the guy is a wimp and is giving up but she is gonna do exactly what he couldn't and live in his world.

She's saying that she loves him so much that she doesn't want to live without him. So for her its better off living in his world because she's with him all the time then to be in her own world without the one she loves.
