Sounds like people don;t see you as a women because your this dudes slave. Your doing all the work "because you love him" THAT is a childish notion

Ok, I've just read all your previous questions and I'm thinking you really really need to ditch this guy your with. Your 19 and have to care for a 4 year old. You were 16 when this great 22 year old guy came along with his 1 year old daughter and you think this is a good relationship? Never mind that it started out as Statutory Rape, your not thinking to well. You said your smart but your boyfriend is pretty much walking all over you. Break up with him and go to College. Screw men who wear hats. Get drunk at a party. Date a cowboy from Texas. After College if you still like this guy then great. You can pick up where you left off then. Till then you are really saying you support him and his child and are seriously not secure in your relationship. Go live a life for a while. Stop being a victim.

If common sense were common, everyone would have some.

So if I get the ages right, you started dating him when you were 16 and he was 21?

If you are ditzy as you say, then that is most likely the reason for people treating you like a little 'gurl'.

Trying keeping quiet until you have the ability to formulate something intelligent to say when you are around these people, then say it. Come across as someone who thinks through what they will say BEFORE saying it.

Portray yourself as an intelligent responsible adult, that may change their persecption of you. Perceptions that other people have may be wrong, but as the saying goes, "Perception is reality".

First of all, whatever u do, people will go on seeing u as a little girl. We all know what it refers to as to taking responsibilities as u do, because of ur age.

And be careful, ur bf may be using u. Try not to do that much work for him - that cleaning and looking after the kid stuff.

Good luck.

Please forgive me for this but your man is a dead beat and he is the one keeping you from being seen as a woman. He gots you doing everything to take care of him but what about you? To be reconginzed as a real woman you have to grow up and act like a real woman by not letting this dude run your life.

dito (dougness86)
youre taking a lot of responsibility...
i dont really get how someone can see a 19 yr old as a little girl...but not exactly a woman either...
if you really want recognition for what you do, you might have to point it out...
