Do you feel it is racist if one person refuses to date people of another race? For instance, if a black woman refuses to date white men? Or if a white woman refuses to date black men? Assume the motivation is simply that they do not find individuals of that race attractive. Feel free to give your opinion, but don't be nasty.

No, but when one is turned down they just assume it is racist.

Not necessarily racist, because sometimes, both genders of both races may just be afraid of the unknown, making it hard to break away from dating their own race. Eg there are a lot of white men whod love to date a black woman, yet some black women assume white men dont find them attractive, which is SO NOT TRUE and some white men also assume the same about black women...... In other cases they mayjust prefer to date their own race.

It's usually it's not racist, It's all a personal preference of what the person finds attractive. Like some people preferring blond hair to brunette.

I don't feel that it is racist at all. I'm a black woman who does not prefer black men. It's all about preference and what you are attracted to. *u*
