were you able to concentrate on studying? If there were distractions how did you deal with them?

people can be the biggest help or distraction. be sure you go into it with the mind frame that you are there for education first.

i think the fact that i was staying in Halls of Residence was my biggest distraction, we were put in flats of 5 people and there was 12 flats in each block. it was like a wee village of drink mad party animals and there wasnt a pick of proper work done for a whole year.

we went out on the drink every night and stayed in bed all day. needless to say i failed first year and never went back. what a waste of money but the best year of my life for sure.

my sexy teacher, she was pretty hot, meant i didn't look at girls my age till i was 19, i fooled around with a few a few times but yip thats when i lost ma virginity, also i didn't hear a thing she taught me id be day dreaming about her or drawing her naked in my math book, actually each year i had 1 or 2 really hot teachers that i just lusted for ? hmmm

I was on academic probation after my first semester (i went to college in New Orleans and i was of legal drinking age at the time) i was in danger of losing my scholarship

I wised-up - i realized that my life was going to be **** if i got kicked out - so i pulled up my bootstraps and buckled down on my studies - i changed roommates - my new roommate's studying habits and his silent but effective example helped me to get through it - you have to surround yourself with people who are not going to try to influence you to go down the wrong path - in orther words - i grew up
