That's polygamy.

Adultery is having sex with a person who is married to somebody else.

Yes, that is a sin. That's the beauty of the Bible and of God's grace. Every person in the Bible except Jesus was a sinner. They all did stupid stuff. King David committed adultery and murder and yet, when he confessed his sins, he was forgiven. At one point he is even called "a man after God's own heart."

Just because someone did it in the Bible doesn't mean it's ok to do. Every story in the Bible is about people that were messed up. Jesus is the only one who never sinned. That is why he could take on our punishment, he didn't have a debt so he was able to pay ours.

I'm super glad that God doesn't want perfect people, becuase I'd be out along with every person i've ever known.

The laws in the Old Testament were set up differently than the law after Jesus lived and died for us. I can't cite all the reasons, wish I could. But from what I have learned at church, after Jesus became the sacrifice for sin, many of the old laws were not in effect any longer. Also, just because some things happened in the Bible, doesn't mean that God was for it. Many things happened that God was totally against, in the same way as today. Even if you are a Christian, you can do things that are sinful, that God is against. Our goal is to live our lives to be more Christ-like in all that we do.

No, not necessarily. It depends on the culture and the religion. It is a sin for a Jew or a Christian to have more than one wife at a time.
There is no such thing as sin to a non-believer. It matters not what you do-you are already outside the will of God.

You gotta understand you're taking it all out of context. The mosaic law was written for the old covenant. Jesus ushered in the new covenant which allows all this ludicrous hypocrisy.

no, that isn't adultery, that is polygamy, adultery is desiring or having sexual intercourse with another's wife.
If you are going to argue religion, at least do it with some intelligence.
