Let them build forts with blankets under the dining room table and chairs.
Coloring!
Have them help make meals and snacks.
My kids like to act out plays (almost 8, 5 and 3) or used stuffed animals as puppets.
Let them take baths....why not?

I have three kids, 6, 4 and 3 here is what we do - arts and crafts, board games, playing with their inside toys, watch a kid movie, bake cookies or something like that, throw everyone in the bathtub with lots of bubbles and bath toys for water play, or if I need an outing, we go to a mall that has a playspace or go out to lunch, or have a playdate over.
Hope this helps!

Where do you live that it is cold outside. It is hot as hades and very humid in Georgia.
You could play some board games, card games, watch videos, play music, playdough, draw and color, make a collage with various materials you have around the house (paper, straws, old pieces of material)

I suggest you rent some movies that are suitable for children. I would give mine coloring books, paper, markers, and crayons and let them go wild. I would let them make their own snacks, nutritional though. Boardgames are nice too, a little sorry or trouble ; I love twister.
