We do not have any picture of Jesus. Jesus has always been depicted differently by different artists over the last 2000 years. Suffice to say he was certainly not white. Its simply not possible that a blonde-haired, blue-eyed Jesus was wandering around the middle east. He probably looked more like an Arab.

Jesus was Jewish. He probably had the olive complexion and dark hair and eyes of most Middle Eastern people today. However, there is no physical description of him given in the scriptures. There is nothing in scripture to suggest that he was "black".
The image we commonly associate with Jesus (the long hair, beard and little complexion) emerged in the Middle Ages. IT has a white european look because it was white europeans who invented the image. People have a habit of wanting to re-create their heroes to look like their own race and culture.
There is no evidence to suggest that the image is based on any specific person, Roman or otherwise. If it is, no one has a clue who that person was.

Nobody knows what Jesus looked like, but logic would tell any reasoning individual that he wasn't blonde-haired or blue-eyed. Look @ most of the Jewish ppl that live in Middle East nowadays. Semitic features... yeah that makes the most sense. Not black, not white. The thing is that during the Middle Ages, European artists drew what they figured he might look like. If every1 you've ever seen in your life is lily-white, your rendition of Jesus would look like that too.

I believe he was black. Ppl often refer to people that live in that region (Middle East), but they're looking at the ppl NOW after years of mixing with other races.
There is a pic of a black Mary and her baby. They call it the Black Madonna. Many religions still worship the black Madonna. The original Jewish ppl were black (African) ppl. The ones you see are what was called Khazars.
There are many references in the Bible to Ethiopia and the land of Cush, the Bible even describes Jesus as having hair of wool.

If you look at the people from the region in the world where he was born, they are definitely NOT black....maybe dark skinned from being out in the sun all the time, but they are not ******........for that matter, he may have been shorter than we like to picture him, as most people in the world at that time were not very tall......so the stuff we see of him today is very idealized nonsense!!

What is more important, what Jesus - the man - looked like, or the message that Jesus - God incarnate - taught?
