Absolutely, buy her a nice dinner out to celebrate and give her a gift. That will show her that you are happy and excited about it.

My husband never did but it would be sweet if you did. Maybe something small for the baby like a bear or some booties, just to show how excited you are too. The look on my husbands face and his encouraging words were gift enough for me.

It would be wonderful to get her a gift! I would suggest buying a little something for her (doesn't have to be anything expensive or big) and buying a "Newborn" size baby outfit in a neutral color (since you don't know yet if it's a boy or a girl). She'll love it!

Although there isn't a custom in place that dictates buying your wife a "we're pregnant" gift, some flowers (or similar gift) would be a nice touch!

That would be soo sweet! It does not even have to be big... just dinner or flowers, or a box of chocolates. You can never go wrong with diamonds... they are a girls best friend! :0) She would love that. You are soo sweet for thinking of that! Your wife is so lucky to have a husband like you! Congrats Dad and Mom!

Considering the next nine months you are about to go through, I think you should start planning something a little more extravagent than a simple dinner or small gift.

Sure, why not! My husband got me flowers when we found out I was pregnant. Something that will make her more comfortable during her pregnancy would be nice... maybe a spa gift certificate. OR, a picture frame to place the baby's ultrasound in?

My husband got me flowers. But what thrilled me out and out is that his happiness and support didnt just stay at the flowers but daily foot massage. No matter how tired, late from work or study he would be..even through his sleep he would take out 5 minutes to massage my tired feet and keep a glass of water at my bedside and kiss me good night. That matters the most. Good luck.

Entirely up to you, but that would be really sweet and show her how much you love her...
Her whole life is gonna turn upside down with baby growing inside her, it will be nice for her to know how much you appreciate what she is about to do!
P.s Well done and it sounds as if you are gonna be really supportive of your wife, keep going!
