Because we are always happy and proud for being a Mormon... why shouldn't we smile? :D :D :D :) ^_^

What do you mean "the picture part"?
I am a happy man so I tend to smile often. I love my family, my friends (both members of the Church and non-members) I love my Savior, I love this Church, and it's Doctrine. I know with a surety that this is Christ's true and only Church and that under His direction the Prophet and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles guide this Church.
I'm not saying I have a perfect life, because I don't. I'm not saying the members of the Church are perfect, because they're not. I am saying that this Church is the only church with the Holy Priesthood and proper authority of God, and His blessings are apparent in this Church.
That is why I smile.

They are the two main Christian groups who come to you to talk about religion, which is how many people will find out about them. Combined with the fact than neither are 'mainstream' Christianity causes many people to put them together because they lack any other knowledge of them. Also I suspect it's part of a plot by people to paint the aspects which people may disagree with from one onto the other, to make both look worse.

when you disassosiate all the time, and start to put on a happy face, you can also start to loose your memories, I don' think the mormons have realized that trying to pretend that they are ewho they are not all the time except behind closed doors is teaching them to be disassossiated from their feelings and they may start to loose track of time and memories if they do it too much.
