used to know a girl when I was a shorty (family friends) but we never used to actually speak to each other, but I used to go play with her younger brother a lot. 20 years later I saw her while I was overseas (we now in our late 20's). We went out to dinner and theatre to catch up. She told me when we were little she didn't speak to me as she didn't know what to talk to me about. Now we get along pretty well and we talked for hours - she told me about the past and what she been upto since. I payed for dinner so she asked if I mind if she pay for theatre. I notice she put her hand in my pocket when I put my money in it as she wanted to see my money clip I use. when I suggested I send her something when I got back as a thank you gift, we stopped at her place and she gave me a gift to take home. She hug me goodbye.

The girl is sending some sort of signal but what is it?

I think you should try asking her out again. If she accepts, then she is interested in you and you need to see her more to know just "how interested" she might be.

She obviously likes you a lot, but it's hard to tell if she's thinking of romance. Pulling your money clip from your pocket sounds rather forward to me, but there are some girls who are just like that -- comfortable with touching others. Or she could be flirting.

It sounds like she would be happy if you kept up the friendship, but hard to say if she wants a deeper relationship. If you're not really interested in dating her, no problem, be her friend. If you'd like to date her, it sounds like she could be receptive, so go ahead and ask her for another date. At worst, she'll say "Let's just be friends".

Don't forget to send her the gift you promised. Nothing too big, just in case she has only friendship on her mind.

I mean no kiss? Well, it looks like you are sending yourself some sort of signal, don't you think? She is friendly, that's for sure. But whether or not she wants more than just friends is remain to be seen.

Go ahead, explorer this further, but take it slow. You should know what to do from here.

Good Luck!

either she is interested in you, or she is an extremely affectionate woman, or a whore. but to be honest with you in my opinion it sounds to me like she is definitely into you. and the fact that she wanted to pay for the theater, just meant she wanted you to know that she is an independent self sufficiant woman, and she's not out for someone to take care of her. just take it slow, send her a gift and maybe next time you guys go out suggest that you pay for everything because you want it to be a real date and that will let her know that you are a gentleman. but the most important thing is BE HONEST, if you want to know how she is feeling about you......ask her. that is a mans biggest misconception, ask and nine times out of ten you will get a truthful answer. good luck man she sounds nice.

I'm a big "take everything at face value" type of person. I hate the exhaustion of trying to figure out what someone really means when they do that or they do this. What it sounds like to me is that you like her and you're trying to figure out if she likes you. Well, you don't have enough information to make that decision to yourself. So, start asking her out more, and if she continues to accept, then eventually start a conversation after a few dates that you like her and does she feel the same. done!

If you are interested, ask her out on a date and go from there.
