My kitty comes running down the stairs with a big cat smile on her face whenever I come home. She gives me a kitty kiss right on the nose!!! I actually don't spoil her too much other than as much petting as she wants and the afternoon catnip romp.
In reading about cat owners I was surprised to see that Muhammed had a cat, and there is the story that rather than disturb his cat, which was sleeping on the sleeve of his robe, he had an assistant cut off the sleeve of his robe. I guess that goes to prove that we all have more in common than we think--I never pictured Muhammed as a cat owner, or realized that he and I could have shared this...well lets call it Love...of cats. Pope Leo X also had a cat in the Vatican--picture it!! The Pope saying his prayers, and his cat meowing for attention.

Well our old girl gets just about anything she wants. She'll sit by the table while we're eating and beg like a dog. It's really quite pathetic! Of course we give in. She'll eat anything, and it shows!
Our young stud on the otherhand has a preference for ice cold spring water rather than lousy old tap water! Caution to company, don't leave a glass of water around or you'll have a cat head and/or paw in it!!!

I built my cats a play area on the wall. It was 1 x 10 wood that you would use for a bookshelf and covered it in carpet and then stuck it to the wall with shelf holders. I also got a concrete roll (where you pour concrete into to make a circle) and covered that in carpet and stuckt that on the wall too. But my cats love it. they run around on there and scratch the carpet on that instead of my furnature. The whole thing cost just over $100 for all the materials. But it was worth it.

I adopted two boy kittens 5 months ago and they made it clear, in a very short time, that I was their human- as opposed to them being my pets.
They refuse to eat canned cat food. I poach or saute chicken breasts, cut it up into little pieces and that is their "soft food". For the past month or so, they refuse to eat unless I pet them and love them a bunch first and then hand-feed them a couple pieces of chicken before they'll start eating. We also screened in our small deck because I don't want them to be "outside cats", but they love to go out and catch/eat bugs and would cry and cry to go out.
Sometimes I feel like I'm crazy for doing all the stuff I do for them.

Wow my cats are spoiled but they eat strictly their cat food and they get into trouble when they scratch things they shouldn't. I do give them alot of attention and play time and they both sleep on my bed if they want to.

I actually have been known to cook for my cats. It's a nice treat for them to have freshly cooked food, and then lounge in the "kitty rafters" that we have built for them around the house. (Immagin a walkway around the top ceiling of every room, with little stairs in a couple of locations.)

Haven't gotten rid of her destructive butt, she's a spiteful little jealousy driven animal, if I ever had one, but I had to bottle feed this one when I rescued it, so I will let it live out it's life with me, and love it when it lets me, up to its dying day. And it loves to wake me up at night to mess with me sometimes, too. Hasn't gotten any flying lessons for that, either. Spoiled in my book.
