I'd ask this in Biology, but the folks over there don't need any convincing, for the most part.

There is a PBS series on dogs that first introduced me to this experiment.

OT: No, I don't think the faithful can be persuaded with evidence - sure is fun to watch 'em twist in the breeze, though.

EDIT: I missed it the first time, but there is 1/2 a dozen or so scriptural references on that page, at the very top. You gotta' love the irony.

Yes - the foxes *are* still foxes. Specie differentiation takes a lot more time than 40 years. Note that their skeletal form has changed, along with their hormone levels. I hope they are able to find a source of funding.

This is NOT evolution. This involves a decrease of genetic information and not increase - you are going the wrong way.

well if your talking about what I believe you are talking about, without hitting the link.I would like to say I have my own beliefs about revolution.well my proof dates back to the time of dinosaurs.they were killed off by a comet/meteor that hit the earth.the life that formed after that was smaller form.Every time the earth was hit by a natural disaster, life came back in a simpler form.the DNA was present on the earth to bring back the life but the mix of DNA and what was in the meteors somehow altered life here on earth. they have the bones of a saber tooth tiger and today's tiger but not the bones in between.Think about it. It will be happening again.

Why did all the humans evolve the EXACT same if evolution is determined by survival of the fittest? Kind of funny how all human have all the same body parts after millions of years yet every OTHER animal evolved different from their cousin....

Faith is believing in things DESPITE or WITHOUT evidence. Do you think that the "faithful" can be convinced to abandon their "faith" by presenting them evidence? You are delusional. That said, it's still fun to see the ignorance that they propagate spill on to a web page.

Speciation is an observable change. Never has there been an inter-phyla transition(i.e. reptile to mammal, fish to amphibian...etc.) change observed in nature or in the fossil record.

Wow very cool.

Genetic changes inducing different social behavior.

MMMMMMm

If genetic changes can change the social behavior in foxes, I wonder what they do to humans?

Could homosexuality be genetic maybe?

Hello - there are many 'missing' links that have been found. Look up Transitional fossils. Although if you are unwilling to read one scientific document that could make you question your faith, then why educate yourself at all?
