Why when we talk about U.S. law , the pro-illegals start yelling about the indians once living here. What does that have to do with these people breaking U.S. law ? Every country has dark areas in their past.

I tend to think it is hypocritical for them to make some of their statements, considering Mexico's past history.

Because the Indians learned the hard way what happens when you don't control immigration.

It gets really old when you think the 1st man came out of Africa and what is considered Native Americans aren't native to this continent at all.
There were people here before the American Indian and they didn't look anything like Indians.

sorry- but everybody claiming their native is just as full of sh*t as us Europeans.

But be glad the Euroepans brought civilization here or otherwise we would all still be living in tee pees wouldn't we?

ADD: I'd say click the link my sweet and see- then pick out a couple of those terms and click search- see for yourself.
You surely can't believe that American Indians were the 1st people here? The Earth is millions of years old.

But in case you can't trust News Week heres a link to MSNBC and you might want to try typing in your search bar the history of man in America.

NOTHING!

Native AMERICANS are in the area called America. Mexicans are in Mexico. Based on maps, that's further south.

I feel they are hypocrites that make statements that suit their purposes. They should stop "belly-aching" about how we stole their land and that America is Aztlan. Both statements are total lies!

If the Mexicans today had ANY Native American blood it's been long bred out of them.
Secondly, the Aztecs, from whom they claim descent, never settled that far north, they restricted themselves to Central America.

They need to get over the Mexican war, and the Gadsden Purchase, pull themselves up by their bootstraps, and improve conditions Mexico!

The only peoples who SHOULD have any claim to the land are the Pueblo, Apache, Navajo, Hopi, Paiute, Shoshone, Yaqui, Nez Perce, etc., who I agree were robbed of their land.

They are trying to capitalize on guilt...which is a pathetic way to try and motivate someone.

People in the northern part of Mexico are usually desperate to flee north into the United States because the Mexican government doesn't give a rat's *** about them. Ultimately, the "blame" for the illegal immigration problem lies with the seat of government in Mexico City. Were they to improve conditions in the country then people wouldn't want to get out so badly.

It doesnt really matter who was here first! No matter who it was. We are all here now, and we have to find a way to co-exsist. The first step is getting our government to enforce our laws. Deport the illegals, get on the Mexican government to take better care of its people, and maybe make it easier for law abiding immigrants to come here.

MLK, that is because the people you are treating in this fashion look like us. They are American Indians. My husband was born in Honduras and he is Mayan Indian, I was born here and I am a mixture of Cherokee, French, and Comanche Indian and concidered Hispanic myself even though my history goes way back to prior to the US even existing on this planet. I was born here and every single week not a day goes by that someone doesn't murmer 'go home' hell where do they want me to go? I am from here, none of my family is from Mexico, they are from Texas, Georgia, Tennesse, North Carolina, Alabama and Oklahoma. My family walked on the Trail of Tears and I returned to my ancient homeland in Georgia so precisely can you explain where it is they want me to go? Wouldn't that be kindof like someone telling you to go back to Africa?

Tn Farm girl do you have proof that people were here before? I didn't think so. Some half baked scientist claimed that Vikings landed here but they sure didn't live here even if they landed. It was Indians that have proof of more than 20,000 years on this continent.

Montreux, The Aztecs capitol was in California, isn't that North America? Furthermore, Mexico in it's entirety is in North America. Central America is even concidered North America there are only two continents on this hemisphere and it is North America and South America, Central America is an arm of North America that connects the two continents. Don't believe it then perhaps you need to consult your geography book from high school again or go to the UN site and put continents in as your search.

The pro illegals have no arguement therefore they babble ridiculous rhetoric reguarding native Americans, racism, jobs we wont do etc. etc.
It has nothing to do with the invasion of our country by criminals. It's non sense!

They use it to point out their "argument" that we all are from illegal immigrants (rubbish).

The problem with that is all they are doing is proving those that fear illegal immigrants will try and take over/run us out. And they seem to forget that back then, there were no laws for anyone to break, so there was nothing illegal about it.

I want to slap them when I see that argument - I am 1/4 Native American, and I am AGAINST illegal immigration.
