I want to change the taps on the sinks and Bath. They are currently individual hot n cold ones, and I want to change them to mixers, and put in a mixer shower in the bathroom.... can anyone suggest a decent place to find some... either online, or in the East Midlands area (Leicestershire).... don't want real fancy or hi-tech ones... just some normal decent ones... help anyone ?

Ive been to all the plumbing shops over the last few years and for price and choice found B&Q the best. I would suggest do not buy on the internet or e-bay as the post charge would be very high. There is a large B&Q warehouse in Leicester thats is very good.

You are in luck - I just got the Lidl offers online and from next thursday they are selling tap mixers for £14.99 and shower ones for £17.99 - that is soooo cheap as many mixer taps are over £100 !!!

Before you do anything...
Are you sure that the cold water feeds from the tank and not off the riser?. Mixers don't work if the two taps are supplied at different pressures.

If you have an IKEA nearby, have a look at their range. I think their catalogue is online.
Lowes? What country are they in?
