You should be fine to bathe her now. Just use puppy shampoo and make sure her nipples are completely rinsed off so that she is free of any problems that might upset the puppies's little tummies. My girl had pups 6/22 (her 3rd litter) and she has already had a bath...you might want to keep the puppies's nails trimmed also, to keep her from having scratches on your teats. That can be painful for her. Otherwise, she should be good to go for a nice warm bath at this point.

If you can wait about another week, she'd probably be more than happy to leave her puppies for the length of time it would take you to bath her and get her 100% dry before letting her back with her puppies. At 4 weeks, you'll be starting to feed the puppies a couple of times a day with a good quality, dry puppy food moistened with warm water. So pick a time to bath her right after you've fed the puppies - they'll be full, so they won't be crying and distressing the mom.

Dogs bathe themselves regularily. They use their tongues to groom (bathe).
As for you dropping your dog into a big tub and washing it...if she likes baths, ask her if she's like to have one she'll likley jump right in...if she tolerates them, she may acquiece.
In any case, ask your vet when would be the best time. Common sense would indicate that if you want to bathe her, doing so only with hot (warm) water and a scrub brush until after the puppies are weaned would be safest.

i does no longer bathe her yet. I oftentimes look ahead to an afternoon after whelping after which I sponge my women with heat water and hibiscrub to scrub them up. I try this on a daily basis as quickly as she will flow away her domestic dogs for short spells. it is in basic terms too stressful to take the Dam far flung from her domestic dogs for long sessions and he or she would want to be thoroughly dry till now she ought to return to her toddlers so that may no longer a competent concept. in basic terms wash the factors that remember. she will rejoice with being freshened up.

Bathe her with a mild shampoo. Make sure there is no insecticide. She will feel good.
