Well it depends who is takin who out. If he asked to take you out then he pays. If you invite him to go somewhere make sure you let him know You are iviting. If its a serious relationship you should be ok to talk bout money and who pays what and when. I am sure there is times when he does not have money so tell him before you guys go out. good luck,

It should be equal! Although saying that, if the guy is on a higher salary it could be seen as unfair that you should both pay half and half for everything, and the same goes if the woman is paid more too. But generally, I think these days half and half is better, otherwise one party could feel they have the "upper hand" in the relationship.

I think it should be equal. If you are getting pretty serious, you sort of feel like you share money even though you are not actually doing it. Maybe just offer or let him pay one time and you pay the next. It will become natural for both of you soon.

If you are really serious and not just starting out, then it is EQUAL. If you are serious, then you are basically "marrying," though not necessarily in a legal sense. It is time to learn to cooperate and work together, or else the relationship is not going to last.

It should be equal. Equality in a relationship is important because it shows your partner that you're not with them just for their money, you're not a gold digger and that you are capable for paying for your share of the relationship.

100 % equal...It all comes and goes. For some reason, people have it stuck in their brains that guys should do all the $ work. Id be broke if I did that. Its a 50/50 highway

It's equal. Sometimes he should pay for stuff and sometimes you should. My b.f and I usually take turns, but he's good and usually the only time I ever pay is if he's running short on money and I wanna do something.

I think it depends on the financial situation of each person. I don't mind splitting about 50-50 (well ok, 70-30 hahaha), but I swear there is a cringe on his face every time I put down my credit card...some sort of manhood thing perhaps.
