Before reading further it is worth noting note that it would be a severe blow to evolutionary theory if there had been no evidence to support the hypothesis stated below. This falsifiability is what makes evolution science (as opposed to ID/Creation)..

==============================...
All great apes apart from man have 24 pairs of chromosomes. There is therefore a hypothesis that the common ancestor of all great apes had 24 pairs of chromosomes and that the fusion of two of the ancestor's chromosomes created chromosome 2 in humans. The evidence for this hypothesis is very strong.

Although perhaps a bit more difficult to understand, I find this:

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/section2.html#molecular_vestiges

the most convincing confirmation of common descent because there is absolutely no reason for both humans and apes to have been 'designed' with a broken biochemical pathway or for those broken pathways to be nearly identical.

As for what this means in relation to God, I think that it is up to every person to draw their own spiritual conclusions. Evolution certainly does not disprove God. Not by any means.

Evolution may not DISPROVE God; but with each new scientific discovery, there is less and less for God to do.

A day is going to come when there'll be no more gaps for Joe Hovah to hide in, and people are finally going to start asking themselves, "What exactly is he FOR, anyway?!?!"

People see the trace, bones then build the hypothesis !

Not matter how genious it's presented, hypothesis is still Hypothesis - theory is still a theory - not the ultimate or absolut truth !

Before, the theory (with convincing experiment) a life is came from a material - then it changes that life came from life - and later on the life is suspected came from material (protein, DNA). It's a 3 times changes which all is supported with convincing experiment each in their times. There's no guarantee it'll not changes again after we accept new theory or new way to see it.

Human can drink cow milk, therefore if you use this theory, human are closer to cow rather than monkey - unless you "a shape theory". It's depend on which theory you "consider" as the ultimate truth or the bases!

The short answer is "they can't". No one who looks at the evidence without being determined to have it NOT support evolution will find that it doesn't. Even when I had my mind made up, a fair presentation of the evidence persuaded me that the mainstream scientists had it right and the young earth creationists had pulled the wool over my eyes.

hi Avocado, exciting innovations. God does contain Himself interior the technique of evolving advent interior the structures of species. not in go over between species inspite of the indisputable fact that. all of us understand that there is evidence of canines evolving yet they don't exchange into fish canines or cat canines, or human canines. If man indeed descended from the apes, then you would have a bone in your penis like all primates.

And when scientists point out all the extinction events through history, as well as ice ages that wiped out all but the most simple of life forms, you end up with evolution having to restart time and again without sufficient time to have higher life forms "evolve" as we observe higher life forms today.

Dream on...

I'm fine with believing in evolution AND God. God's smart enough to figure out biology, chemistry, and quantum physics. That's just how he created things to work. If nothing else, at least God was the one who banged the big bang.
