I think that she's just using you and you're just a rebound - I say ditch her, she doesn't deserve you and I'm sure that you can do better!

Im a guy and Ive dealt with this problem before, I do had feelings for an ex while dating another woman. I am 17. What you need to do is be open with your girlfriend and let her know how you feel about your ex, but RE-ASSURE her that you love her for her and not for old feelings for your ex. Make her confident in herself that shes doing her part, but you are having trouble moving on. Chances are, if you get back with your ex, then problems will arise again, arguments, all the old things, because you ended your relationship on fights and arguments. If you start it back up again, you will have to face the past and not a better future. Also, your girl should be enough, she loves you for you, and you guys dont have a bad past(Im assuming). Try and move on and let the past go, because you shouldn't throw away the good you have now, for something bad you had in the past. Hope this helps, good luck.

IF u really think that this girl deserves the effort, u should do anything for here, give here anything, make her forget about the ex and think about you...i have a girl friend that's going through this...she loves her ex, but her actual boyfriend is starting to gain field, because he's acting incredibly nice with her, he gives here support, he doesn't ask for nothing in return, HE TAKES IT STEP BY STEP!!! and...first of all and the most important NO SEX!!! it could make her think like u're just a regular guy...if she wants to have sex, try to avoid it..it might be a solution for her to forget about the ex, but it isn't...if she sees that u don't wanna do things like that, she'll really start to appreciate you...and she'll finally love ya!! good luck, my friend, GOOD LUCK AND PATIENCE!!!!!

He cannot of been the one if hes no longer with her..?
I would not live my life being second best to anyone and it sounds like that's the role your playing in her life right now
I would personally get out of the relationship you need to think about what will happen if he decided to come back to her
You deserve better never be any ones second best be the one and only

Steal her heart like he did? I was in simular sitiation, but i think you already know that he is not "the one"...so u have a chance to let her heal from wounds and fall in love again. Be easy, dont ask questions and if she talks about him, dont be annoyed or at least try not to show if off much..let her talk...she needs to seak it out and if she does then u know that she conciders you very close person to herself. She will stop speaking about him, once she knows it does not bother you ....

I think that you should let her go because if she is in love with someone else and not you it could complicate things and eventually you might start to not trust her with her ex i think you guys should remain friends and try looking for someone new.

End it now. You will only get your heart broken if you stay with her. Trust me on this one, I know from experience. When someone is the "one" it means they are loved by someone wholeheartedly, and the person who loves them will never stop loving them. So you are better off to find a new relationship -- the right "one" for you will never break your heart!!!

This one is hard as you clearly love this girl but she cant return it. She'll probably end up back wiyh her ex eventually so leave now while your brain's still in tact! x x

well the truty here is that no one can fix what the heart feels. You can be with this girl for ever and she can love this guy until the day she dies. The question here is are you willing to be with her even if she feels this way?

Talk to your gf. If she confirms what you have just said it is best to call it a day. If she denies that she still loves her ex proceed.
