Why should brown skin mean you are an illegal mexican?

Every where on answers it's "illegal mexican".Why?Why not illegal Honduranian or illegal Guatamalan Or illegal dominican republican?Does their latino skin color automatically label them as mexican?Isn't that a bit presumptuous?

What about those dark skinned Honduranians that look black or the Dominicans with dark skin?You'd see them on the street and never classify them.Because they don't fit the typical "mexican"look?Did you know there are white skinned mexicans also?Blonde hair and blue eyes.They could all be illegal,but they wouldn't be accused and put down soley by the way they look.But let a brown skinned woman with black hair stand in the food stamp line and there'd people go,calling her another government cheating illegal mexican.Or worse,a *******,which is what they are called where I live.It wouldn't matter if she was born here ,along with the last 5 generations of her family.She could have more american roots than you or I,but no one would care,cause she lokks mexican.Sad.

I wonder the same thing every day, and its sad. My husband is Mexican and is a greencard holder. The stigma still stands, most people are ignorant. If somebody speaks spanish they are an illegal mexican here to steal jobs and welfare.

No doubt you can feel this because you are one of the darker skins of your country men/women.
But have you ever heard the word stereo typing that goes for anyone that have a tan naturally.

You can check it out yourself if you could find say an Indian from India, that had a very light skin tone then you would find that they will never tell you that they are Indian because, that is their passport to indirection.

On the other hand a dark skinned Indian can be identified immediately from a distance.
Just like so called African Americans with very light skin, straight hair, blue eyes, straight nose and an American accent.
Of course it shouldn't mean that you are an illegal but because you have dark skin, it is assumed that you are in the USA illegally.

you would be amazed at the people out there that accuse me of being an illegal alien and I am an American Indian with a mix of French ancestory. I was born here, my ancestors are from Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina. You would be amazed at the ignorance of some people. I do say I am Hispanic, but I speak Spanish and have the exact same characteristics racially as those not born here do. My direct lineage escaped to Texas, then Mexico, during the Trail of Tears in 1838. So I am as American as Apple pie yet I still get accused of being here illegally.

Sometimes the questions from the pros are couched that way, you will notice. However, I agree. Mexicans DO make up a greater percentage of illegal immigrants than all the rest put together, HOWEVER it is still about 57% by the Pew Hispanic Center numbers (Latin Americans combined make up 75%) That means almost half are NOT Mexicans, so equating illegal immigration with Mexicans, while it may suit a particular neighborhood's impact, isn't logical.

they dont make our lives easier. THEY MAKE IT WORSE. We have no jobs because of them. My dad has been laid off twice, and its mostly all illegals that work there. You tell me how an illegal can work without having a green card and a social security number. They shouldnt be working here at all. And plus they are coming in here illegaly by committing a crime again tell me how they are making our lives easier they arent its getting worse. If they had done what they were supposed to there wouldnt be a problem, plus they arent paying taxes instead we are paying theres and giving them a free college education and AGAIN tell me how thats easier and they are getting free food stamps.. the only people in this country that should be getting food stamps is the americans who dont have money because we are losing our jobs and again you explain to me why they are making it easier for us what have they done, nothing. I have nothing against someone coming here legaly and doing it the right way but when they come here without permission then i have a problem.

You can't look at a person and tell their nationality, so you take a guess. As for your friend, stuff like that will happen untill we get these illegals out of the country. You need not blame the American citizens, for her problems, but blame Mexico and its people. They are the ones breaking U.S. law .

Most of us want all illegals gone, I even got into it for a while with Metro900, a white Polish illegal.
The problem and reason people are so down on Mexican illegals is because of their attitude.
They are the only illegals at the rallies waving Mexican flags, burning American flags, cursing Americans and America.
They are the only ones claiming to be conducting a war of reconquista against our people and country.
They have made themselves stand out as our enemies and so we focus on them more actively.
If they and you don't like it, then perhaps they need to accept they are illegal criminals and understand if we catch them they need to be deported by our laws which they disregard.
All illegals need to go home, Mexican illegals are making it hard on all brown skin people, and forcing a war on us for our country"s survival.
If you have 50 rattlesnakes in you house where your family lives; and 25 of them have their poison sacs removed and are are only looking for a place to live, do you separate them or kill them all?
The same situation applies to the illegals with brown skin, if they are illegal, and many are declaring a war, do you waste time separating them or fight for your home and family. If some are innocent, too bad, the law says they shouldn't be here anyway.
And can you tell us how to easily tell the difference between them?

I guess because they come across the border illegally from Mexico. They dont have to be from Mexico, but they are coming in that way. I would say the majority are brown skinned and dont speak english...but that doesnt mean all are brown skinned.
I havent seen any white skinned illegals coming in from Mexico in my neck of the woods, but that doesnt mean they are not here...

I'm not sure that it does? I've certainly never insinuated that. I am not racial in my disagreement of illegal immigration, I feel anyone from anywhere that is illegal should be deported. It is a legal issue, not a racial one.

Because we Americans are too ignorant to take the time to learn the common characteristics that differentiate any non-white race from any other non-white race.

The sad thing is, it took me all of 4 weeks to be able to train myself to pick out the racial characteristics of both East Asian peoples and South Asian/Asian Minor races.

Pretty pathetic.
