Here is the scoop.
My boyfriend and I are apart during the weekdays because he goes to summer school in town, (45mins. away) while I am in the country side going to summer school there and working.
We only get to see each other on the weekends and we barely talk to each other while we are a part on the weekdays.
But when I do, he seems like "distant" to meeh compared to when we are together.
When we are together, he can't stop holding meeh, cuddling meeh, telling meeh how much he loves meeh. && when he's a part, he's different. He doesn't like to express how he feels about meeh as easily as he can while we are together.
I don't understand why he is like this?
Can yooh guys help meeh?

When I first joined the navy I was in school for well over a year and about a 12 hour drive from my gal.
She would want to talk constantly, but most the time we would sit there and listen to each other breathe after a while.
If I talked everyday, I dont wanna talk all day... 30 minutes is good, I dont do that much in one day that I need to talk about it for 3 hours a night. Since I'm gone for months at a time... yeah I'll talk most the night away when I get a chance.

ok there could be soo many reasons so look into it carefully...
dont buy the crap that he just cant express himself over the phone 'cause yea guys tend to be more visual that women but if he can cuddle and say i love you in person(which is way harder to do than over the phone) then he shouldnt have a problem saying it over the phone, if he's as romantic in person which is so hard for lots of ppl then he should have NO problem saying sweet nothings on the phone. so....
that leaves you with either another girl, cuz wat ur saying sounds like he has another girlfriend, so far u've listed most of the signs of another woman....cuz the other girl will get pissed if she finds him on the phone saying intimate things to someone else...or...
he probably uses that time for himself as his "me" time, to breathe lol you know everyone not just men but women also need some me time not exactly alone time so if he says that then either he misworded(grammer check lol) himself or its a lie cuz alone time means being ALONE so if he's cracking jokes in the background w ppl but being distant w you then thats not alone time....
but one thing you NEED to do, is ask him, u dont have to got to him with an attitude just tell him about ur concerns and remember to let him know ur not trying to smother him but you just noticed a difference in him and was wondering what caused it...;)

Don't worry about it, I too am not much for long winded conversations on the phone. Besides, it gives you more to talk about on the weekends...

I've always noticed that guys just don't like to talk on the phone. Unlike us girls, they have this strange aversion to talking on the phone. They don't know what to say or how to say it, and they dislike it too because they can't see our reactions to what we say. Men are visual creatures. He isn't being distant on purpose, he just doesn't know how to talk to you on the phone. That and he probably just wants to see you in person.

Maybe he has a girlfriend in that other part of town. And his girlfriend there will wonder why he talks sweet with someone else.

well guys aren't like girls. we cant talk about nothing for endless hours it bores us and leaves us blank. better to just not assume the worst and realize that we like phone calls that dont go past 3minutes.

alteast he is spending some time with.. you.. so you should satisfy within that until you get married.. isnt it??,,, its a nice chance to control yourself and satisfaction.. use this chance and understand that he is searching a good future.. also speak to him frankly..
