I aways use Travelex. I have also had to file a claim with them when there was an itinerary change and they paid quickly with no hassles.

As an experienced traveler I would shop around. Sometimes depending on what cruise you are going on the cruise line itself may actually have cheaper cruise insurance then some other companies. You just have to compare prices. I have used Travel Guard in the past as and its a good company with cheap prices that are affordable. So I would recommending checking Travel Guard out.

The best prices that I have found overall are from www.cruisequick.com.
HOWEVER they do not hold your hand. What I mean is that you need to know what cruise you want, what ship, date and category. You cannot call them, they do not answer a phone.
They are internet based only, completely legitimate, and offer a bonus or discount that most other agents don't offer.
They work on a flat fee profit and are completely automated.
They do answer emails promptly.
Their site explains how they work. I have used them for years, without any problems. They offer free price quotes via email that include all port fees, taxes etc.
Happy Cruising !

I cruise in many situations throughout the time of hurricane season. ninety% of the time, this is not a situation. in spite of the shown fact that via fact of this you purchase shuttle coverage. in case you have a medical emergency or the deliver is canceled, you will get your cash back. in spite of the shown fact that that hardly occurs. My final cruise replaced into final August on the respect. throughout the time of that 2 week era, some thing like 7 hurricanes entered the Gulf. Our deliver purely sailed around it. We went to our islands as scheduled and as quickly as we left Belize on a thank you to Freeport Bahamas, we sailed approximately a hundred and fifty miles out of ways mutually as hurricane Gustov got here up by ability of Cuba and exceeded us. We went to Freeport as envisioned. each in some circumstances they are going to exchange the dates via hurricanes. you may visit Costa Maya on Tues and Belize on Wednesday instead of the opposite. i've got had that take place as properly. hardly is an island skipped completely yet which could take place too. in many situations the cruise deliver can only exchange ports--as an occasion instead of Ochos Rios Jamaica you may visit Montego Bay. each in some circumstances via region it particularly is only skipped and you gets some money back via fact the deliver is not paying the port expenses. some thing like a $30 voucher for lacking a port. the terrific difficulty is to bump into it at sea once you may sail around it. Cruise ships build in that to their itinerary so as a replace of docking on the port at 3am, they sail in at 6am and for those on the boat, you're blind to the adaptation. yet definite in case you don't get shuttle coverage, you will lose your cash yet hardly is a cruise deliver canceled b/c of a hurricane. oftentimes whilst that occurs it particularly is b/c the port they sail out of replaced into hit. shuttle coverage is properly worth it and does not fee very lots. For my husband and that i (the two in our 1920s) it replaced into $ninety 4 for a 7 day cruise. in spite of the shown fact that it does not make me aggravating of taking a cruise throughout the time of hurricane season. in spite of everything this is a million/2 of the three hundred and sixty 5 days and maximum person-friendly in that Caribbean section so cruise ships are properly conscious of a thank you to handle it.
