Brother, let me tell you something..... I have been duped and I have been wrong..... But, you cannot stop one place and say "this is all in all"....... I began my plight in Catholicism.. I found my way to the Baptist faith..... Then I found Jehovah's Witness.....Then a holiness way.... then found myself studying with some Muslim..... And even did a thesis on Budhism.....
Of all these, I have found all have something similar..... .we are individual, we follow after faith, we seek a greater understanding, and we all know something is greater than ourselves in this life........
All these faiths, differ in their understanding of dealing with that Greater thing...... But, have absolute similarities.....
All these faiths, I have abandoned because there were discrepancies that my spirit did not agree........
Wholly, I have found, it is greater to study alone and be lead by the things which are true....... I have found that Scripture is a greater teacher than the so-called teachers of this world and I have learned much......
your sister,
ginger

Yes you are right, we should be worshipping God rather than religions, when you peep into the major religions of this word, you will find that all of them have the concept of the worship of One single God.
We need religion to know more about this One God, but if a religion is a set of fairy tales, without logic, then we should give it a deep thought. I am a Muslim and we don't believe in illogical blind belief in God or the religion. This is the reason why my Quran addresses mankind again and again telling them to pin point one single contradiction in the Quran, if it's not from God. As you said humans err. Quran is not one of the books of the ancient, but an up to date book.

Root your life in something, and if it's shaken it can freak you out. People get mad when they're scared. It's easier to just go along with everyone else than to actually branch out and look at what the possibilities are. Admitting you could be wrong is admitting that you've built your life on a house of cards. Personally, I prefer the ground. :)

They already are so deluded that they believe in all manner of patently absurd things, like god/s, miracles, prayer, spells, sacrifices and the like. If they can't see the blindingly obvious, that there religions are all fakery, fraud and deceit, then they are hardly likely to admit that they are wrong even if the truth stares them in the face.

No, I do not believe that God would want us to erase lines that divide us. That is not what Jesus taught or did. He told us that He did not come to bring peace, but division. Be smart, learn to devide good from evil. I cannot be wrong when I do the will of God.

To say your wrong, is not a belief then, is it? He said "Believe in me" then why should He want to have "lines" between us.
This is a contradiction to His teachings.

After we die we go back to where we came from. It is sad that you do not remember your promise to GOD. I do not worship my religion, but it is my religion to worship my creator. Those who dont, you will get your answers when you die. Dont worry about that.
